Canadians Like Depraved Slave Labour Camp Called China More Than US Says Pew Research Survey

Canadians’ opinions of the United States have deteriorated while their perceptions of China have improved compared to a few years ago, a new report suggests.

According to a Pew Research Center report released Wednesday, 44 per cent of Canadians surveyed between February and May hold a favourable view of China, while 33 per cent feel the same about the U.S. Last year, Canadians were “equally” favourable toward both countries. But in 2023, most Canadians had a “positive view” of the U.S. at 57 per cent, compared to 14 per cent that viewed China positively.

China Launches ICBM, Sanders Proposes Disarmament

On July 6, a Chinese Navy submarine launched either a JL-2 or JL-3 nuclear-capable, intercontinental ballistic missile.

The missile, traveling in a southeasterly direction and carrying a mock warhead, landed in the Pacific Ocean, in the South Pacific Nuclear Free Zone.

The launch was the first known Chinese submarine-launched missile test since 1982 and the first ever from a Chinese nuclear-powered sub.

A new automaker has entered Canada’s electric vehicle market giving some consumers looking to purchase a new vehicle more options.

Lotus, owned by the Chinese Geely Group, recently shipped its first Eletre EVs to Canada under a Canada-China deal signed in January. The premium SUV, made in Wuhan, is the first Chinese-owned and Chinese-built EV available for sale in Canada. The high-end vehicle starts at $119,000, while the fully loaded model sells for $159,000.

The Chinese military tested a submarine-launched ballistic missile on Monday, emphasizing its ability to threaten the United States with the world’s most lethal weapons. Flying more than 4,300 miles, the missile soared high past Taiwan, Japan, and the U.S. territory of Guam, a key Pacific Ocean military bastion. Its dummy warhead, designed to simulate a nuclear warhead, then splashed down in waters north of the Solomon Islands.

Canada Tells US There’s ‘No Basis’ for Forced Labour Tariffs

Ottawa told Washington its safeguards against imports made with forced labour are robust enough as the threat of additional U.S. tariffs looms.

The Canadian government filed an official response with the United States Trade Representative (USTR) on July 6, the deadline for doing so.

“Canada respectfully submits that there is no basis for the imposition of additional Section 301 duties on Canadian goods,” says the document. It argues Canada has an existing prohibition against forced labour goods and has introduced new legislative measures to reinforce the regime.

German car industry warns of job collapse unless ‘bold decisions’ made to address Chinese threat

The German car industry has warned of a potential collapse of employment in the sector in Europe unless society and workers accept that “bold decisions” are needed to address competition from the Chinese and other rivals.

Volkswagen is preparing to formally propose up to 100,000 job losses, a move that has triggered a wave of protests.

The statement from the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), which appears timed to coincide with this meeting, went as far as to say that handing some of the country’s car plants over to foreign ownership could be a way to save jobs.

U.S. flags concerns over Canada’s ties to China as it blocks CUSMA renewal

The United States’ top trade official is pointing to Canada’s deepening economic ties with China as one of the reasons Washington is refusing to renew the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement on free trade (CUSMA) in its current form.

Speaking to Global News on Thursday, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said the White House is concerned Beijing could use Canada as a back door into the American market.

My suspicion is the Americans are not much concerned with economic matters but worry more at the ChiCom compromised security risk Canada is becoming.
