Ayanna Pressley took to social media on Monday to share a controversial message about Indigenous Peoples’ Day, also known as Columbus Day.

‘We are all on stolen land. And while Republicans try to whitewash American history, we acknowledge our country’s role in inflicting trauma on our Indigenous neighbors,’ the Boston congresswoman wrote on X.

Pressly is also a wealthy landlord.

Halifax gym removes race-based pricing after ‘criticism,’ says it was not meant to be ‘exclusive’

A Halifax gym says it has removed race-based pricing after “feedback and criticism” about a discounted rate intended “to foster diversity and inclusion.”

R Studios, which has five locations in Nova Scotia, came under fire this week after posts on social media pointed out the discount. Canadian veteran Jeff Evely said on X that charging “double for white people” compared to Black and Indigenous People of Colour (BIPOC) customers was in violation of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act. Evely is also a People’s Party of Canada candidate for Sydney—Glace Bay.

Emerging from the train station in Bath, my wife and I were greeted by the 18th century. There were men in top hats and tails wielding ornate canes; women in elegant regency gowns so large they swallowed six square feet of street; fancy bonnets. It is the 250th birthday year of Jane Austen, who lived in Bath from 1801 to 1806, and the city pulled out all the stops. Austen’s birthday is December 16th, but the celebrations have been going on for months. At least, for some.

Arabic ‘O Canada’ on October 7 is institutional capture

A Toronto high school’s decision to play an Arabic version of “O Canada” on Oct. 7 — the two-year anniversary of Hamas’s massacre of 1,200 and kidnapping of 251 in southern Israel — was not an act of inclusion. It was a calculated political statement.

The only official versions of “O Canada,” as defined by the federal National Anthem Act, are in English and French. Other languages may be shared culturally, but never as a replacement. The decision to broadcast an Arabic version on Oct. 7 by Earl Haig Secondary School was an unmistakable act of defiance.

Some of us Islamophobes have been pointing out this ‘institutional capture’ for years. Decades even.

Our school boards and  provincial government first decided that anti-White hatred was an acceptable part of school curriculum.

Anti-White hatred opened the door to the antisemitism we see today.

A parent has accused a secondary school of ‘brainwashing’ after he learned 14-year-old students were told to read a book that ‘blames them for their white skin’.

James Farquharson claims students were being fed ‘partisan political views’ after the novel, The Hate U Give, was added to the Year 10 reading list at Budmouth Academy in Weymouth, Dorset.

The 53-year-old said the book was making some students feel guilty about being white and left his daughter ’embarrassed and uncomfortable’ after was told to read it out loud.

‘Canada First’ is really an ‘Immigrants Second’ movement

There was a “Canada First Rally” recently in Toronto, to “Stop mass immigration. Start mass deportations” according to the social media poster for the event. But here’s the catch: our immigration system already runs on a Canada First principle. Who is admitted, who is rejected, who is left in limbo is always structured around what Canada needs, not what immigrants want.

So maybe it’s time we call it what it is: an “Immigrants Second” movement.

In the April 2025 federal election, the New Democratic Party was nearly wiped from the Canadian electoral map. The NDP was reduced to seven parliamentary seats, five short of the 12 needed to gain official party status. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, one of the worst politicians in recent memory, lost his own seat. The once-proud standard-bearer of Canadian Leftism was reduced to a mere 6 percent of the popular vote.

Daniel Tate of Integrity TO, a City Hall watchdog group recently raised the alarm about the email practice.

This is just the latest effort by City Hall to express it’s contempt for White Canadians.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture, a Smithsonian Institution center in Washington, D.C., features exhibits that glorify violent radical groups like the Nation of Islam (NOI) and offer historical falsehoods on issues like slavery, a Washington Free Beacon review found.

The NOI features prominently in the museum, with exhibits offering effusive praise to the group with little mention of the organization’s history of violence, anti-White radicalism, and anti-Semitism.

Trump was right again.
