Navy: We’re not releasing any more of our UFO videos. Not sorry

It’s been almost two and a half years since the United States Navy officially confirmed and released three videos showing unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP, or UFOs as some of us still call them) performing confounding maneuvers in the vicinity of some of our warships. That was only one step in an ongoing process that we’ve known of since December of 2017 wherein the American government has slowly but surely expanded the conversation on this subject and the Pentagon has stepped up its investigation of the phenomenon, largely under the directions of the United States Congress. The most recent development was the announcement of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

Sweden: Rightwing bloc heading to victory in Swedish election, 90% of vote count suggests

The far right appears close to causing an earthquake in Swedish politics, the Sweden Democrats becoming the country’s second-largest party while the wider rightwing bloc edged towards a slim victory over the incumbent centre-left.

Exit polls on Sunday night had suggested a narrow victory for the Social Democrats and their allies but as the votes were counted the tally swung towards the right.

With 90% of the vote counted, the right bloc of four parties had a share of the vote corresponding to a majority of three in the 349-seat parliament.

California goes lights-out thanks to green energy

Instead of taking a second look at nuclear power, the Golden State doubles down

California has gone full pagan — it lives and dies by the weather. Over the last few days, the state’s power grid has groaned under the strain of a massive heatwave. Combine that with a hydropower-sapping drought and you’ve got a recipe for blackouts.

While major weather events pose challenges for any electricity system, California’s has become uniquely vulnerable to blackouts thanks to an over-investment in weather-dependent wind and solar. Every night during the heatwave, solar experiences its scheduled defeat at the hands of sunset and Californians are left praying for the wind to blow and and the imports to flow.

This is Sweden’s populist moment

The right-wing Sweden Democrats are exploiting the failures of a globalist political elite.

The Sweden Democrats are on the brink of a huge electoral breakthrough. In the run-up to today’s General Election, polls have suggested the right-wing populists could become Sweden’s second-largest party, and the dominant force among the right-wing opposition. If the right wins – and currently it is level-pegging in the polls with the centre-left bloc led by the Social Democrats – there is even a chance that the Sweden Democrats could enter government.

‘The FBI Showed Up’: DCNF Reporter Details How Feds Pressured Americans Into Signing Away Gun Rights

“Between 2016, at least 2016 and 2019, we obtained extensive records from Gun Owners of America, a firearms rights group, as part of its ongoing Freedom of Information lawsuit against the FBI. Between that period, at least 2016, the FBI showed up at the homes and Americans and met them in other redacted locations — individuals that they had been investigating for things like ongoing threats, making remarks online deemed controversial, on social media, in chat rooms. And they handed them these forms that voluntarily, according to this form, waive their right to own possess or use any firearms at all,” DCNF investigative reporter Gabe Kaminsky told Newsmax host Tom Basile.

How the West Built a Russian Enemy

“One would think the Tsar is back!” This is how a colleague covering the G8 summit in Saint Petersburg in July 2006 commented after a visit by President Vladimir Putin to the facilities provided for journalists covering the “historic event.” Historic because this was the first time that Russia, admitted as a full member of the club of “great powers” in 1997, was hosting the summit.

Putin wore his usual disdainful grin like the man who broke the bank in Monte Carlo.

To show that Russia is back, Putin had chosen the Konstantinovsky Palace as the venue for the G8 summit. The elegant chateau had been started in 1714 by Peter The Great as a Russian answer to the Versailles Palace in France.

Sweden: 79 Per Cent of ‘Refugees‘ Have Vacationed in Country They ‘Fled‘

A survey published this week has shown that the vast majority of “refugees” living in Sweden have vacationed in the country they fled from — though hardly any wish to ever return permanently.

The survey, which was conducted by the polling firm Novus, claims that, around 85 per cent of people living in Sweden born overseas have gone on vacation to their home country — and that among people who are supposed to be refugees the number is around 79 per cent, despite the fact they are in Sweden in the first place because they were supposedly forced to flee said home country.

Pierre Poilievre is a 21st century populist who thinks his moment has arrived

During an interview in July — sometime after it became clear that he was more than likely to win the leadership race — Pierre Poilievre buried any notion that he would change his ways once he became leader of the Conservative Party.

“People know what to expect from me,” he said. “There is no grand pivot. I am who I am.”

Poilievre has never been a shrinking violet. He first ran for office when he was 24 years old and he was a central character in some of the biggest political battles of the Stephen Harper era.

Watch what he does not what he says.

Latest twists in Murdaugh murder mystery: ‘More like ‘Ozark’ every day’

Meanwhile, one member of the gang told The Post that “Alex Murdaugh runs half the drugs in this county.”
