A jailed anti-immigration rioter who shouted racist abuse and called asylum seekers ‘child killers’ during protests outside a hotel has died in prison.

Peter Lynch, 61, a father of four, died on Saturday night at HMP Moorland near Doncaster, in south Yorkshire, the prison service confirmed.

He was serving a two year and eight months prison term after being jailed in August. The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman (PPO) is now carrying out an independent investigation into his death.

“Seizures of Canada-sourced fentanyl in places like the U.S. and Australia suggest that domestic production is likely exceeding domestic demand, and that Canada is now a source (and transit) country for fentanyl to some markets,” said the briefing note from June, which was first obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter.

The most recent such provocation is the notion that the semi-mythical warlord/king Arthur, a central figure of the founding of Britain, the epitome of knightly valor and prowess, and arguably the most legendary hero in all of Western literature, may have been LGBTQ, according to a Welsh county council.

Management of the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services declined to apologize to an employee who was sexually assaulted in Latvia because they didn’t want the mea culpa reported on by the Ottawa Citizen, newly released documents reveal.

Kristen Adams, a civilian who worked for the welfare services group, was sexually assaulted by a NATO soldier during her shift at the canteen operated by Canada for troops in Latvia, according to military police records.

CBC president Catherine Tait billed for $1,000-a-night hotel to attend Paris Olympics

OTTAWA – Outgoing CBC President Catherine Tait spent $6,000 — including staying at a $1,000-per-night hotel — for just under five days at the Paris Olympics, an expense observers say is sure to raise eyebrows but is ultimately justifiable.

According to a copy of Tait’s calendar obtained via an access-to-information request, Tait was in Paris from July 25 to 29. She arrived the day before the opening ceremony of the Paris Summer Olympic Games.

She had no reason to be there. It’s not as if she was running around with a Go-Pro live streaming the events back home.
