Russia scrambled to shoot down claims that exiled dictator Bashar al-Assad’s London-born wife Asma filed for divorce and wants to leave with her children to the UK.

Turkish media dropped a bombshell report on Saturday that Asma al-Assad, 49, was fed up with her asylum in Russia and wanted to build a new life in London. The report claimed she filed for divorce just two weeks after her family fled Syria ahead of a rebel advance into Damascus.

Cenk Uygur’s Powwow With Charlie Kirk Bodes Well For Defeating The ‘Uniparty’

If you are a political junkie, Cenk Uygur is big news these days. Uygur is a left-wing media commentator and host/creator of the popular online multimedia outlet “The Young Turks.” He recently was a guest speaker at “AmericaFest,” the annual meeting of Charlie Kirk’s right-wing political nonprofit, Turning Point USA.

The almost exclusively Republican AmericaFest crowd gave Uygur a standing ovation. Uygur’s appearance resulted in vitriol from both sides of the political aisle, with some right-wing pundits accusing MAGA of becoming a “left-wing movement” and a certain semi-coherent left-wing former sportscaster labeling Uygur, a seeming traitor to leftism, as a “gullible” “crank.”

Matt Gaetz used illicit drugs while paying for sex with multiple women — including 17-year-old, ethics probe finds

Former Rep. Matt Gaetz was allegedly found to have used illegal drugs like cocaine and ecstasy while paying for sex with multiple women — including a 17-year-old high school junior he had sex with in front of other people, according to a damning draft of the House Ethics Committee report.

Gaetz allegedly paid more than $90,000 to 12 different women, according to a 37-page draft of the report obtained by CBS News and Just the News.

“The Committee determined there is substantial evidence that Representative Gaetz violated House Rules and other standards of conduct prohibiting prostitution, statutory rape, illicit drug use, impermissible gifts, special favors or privileges, and obstruction of Congress,” it alleged.

Police arrest 27-year-old sex offender who allegedly posed as a teenage girl to register for high school in Albany

A convicted sex offender who was trying to register as a high-school student was arrested in Albany last Friday, police said.

Makayla Craig, 27, is accused of computer crimes, second-degree forgery and false swearing for posing as a 15-year-old girl to enroll as a high-school student, the Albany Police Department said in a statement.

Employees at Families and Communities Together, the health and social service program for the Greater Albany Public School District, reported Craig after they noted that Craig appeared to be an adult, police said.
