Considering accessory to manslaughter? Don’t worry, you’ll get to keep your gym membership

Grok’s interpretations are often  mysterious

An Ontario court justice has sent a strong message to criminal thugs all across the province who might find themselves in a scenario where they could help a friend evade justice: Go ahead. You won’t necessarily go to jail. In fact, you might be able to keep your gym membership.

In July, 2023, in the Leslieville area of Toronto, Khalila Mohammed helped a man involved in a fatal shooting of a bystander escape the scene and hide out from authorities. Ms. Mohammed, who was 23 years old at the time, worked as a harm-reduction worker at the supervised-consumption site near where the daytime shooting took place. Karolina Huebner-Makurat, a mother of two who lived in the area, was hit and killed by a stray bullet.

Joy Reid campaigns for Iran to get ‘nuclear energy’ in cringe-worthy panel appearance

Fired ex-MSNBC host Joy Reid mistakenly blasted the US for trying to stop Iran obtaining nuclear energy during her latest CNN appearance.

Speaking on Newsnight earlier this week, Reid defended the country following the attacks on their nuclear sites by President Donald Trump over the weekend.

The left-wing commentator said: ‘Why on earth is the United States bombing a country that did not attack us, what on earth are we doing there at all.

A New Paper Reveals Devastating Harms of Cross-Sex Hormones

Male use of estrogen is associated with a range of diseases and health complications.

In recent years, administering estrogen to males who identify as transgender women has become increasingly common, including among adolescents. Often paired with testosterone blockers, this treatment is marketed as part of “gender-affirming care”—a term used to describe medical interventions intended to “align” a person’s body with his or her “gender identity.” But as more young people pursue medical transition in the absence of long-term studies, concerns about safety, efficacy, and informed consent have grown more urgent.

GENDER BENDERS: Report finds federal trades grant for women misused by biological men

A federal grant program aimed at encouraging more women to enter the skilled trades was exploited by men who falsely self-identified as female to receive the higher funding, according to a report by the Department of Employment.

Maine governor comes face to face with Canadian travel fears

“… But two questions from participants brought into sharp relief how immigration raids and the rolling back of trans rights is scaring some Canadians away from U.S. visits.

“A lot of members of the queer community — a lot of Canadians feel unsafe, Canadians who are 2SLGBTQI+ absolutely feel unsafe going there,” said Vivian Myers-Jones, a member of the Saint John Pride board.”

Without Fake News CBC I would not know that hordes of Canadian transvestites routinely descended upon Maine in the halcyon days before Trump.

I bet the Governor was surprised as well.

The crazy needles of France

Back in my younger days, my parents loved a song by Les Baxter, “The Poor People of Paris.” To this day, hearing the song reminds me of that cheap GE record player that we bought when we came to the U.S. It was a major achievement finally getting our own set and not having to listen to music on the radio. The song was about life in Paris when it was a French city and not whatever it is now.

UK: Police plead with asylum seekers not to ‘harass or abuse’ women

Asylum seekers have been told by police to treat women with respect and not harass them or risk being arrested.

Officers have drawn up a PowerPoint presentation for asylum seekers in hotels on the key points of “UK culture” which they are told they should respect.

It includes recognising that women “have the same rights as men”, so “must be treated with respect and courtesy”. “If you harass or abuse any female, you can be arrested,” it states.

Hike in defence spending could mean cuts in other areas, Mark Carney warns

OTTAWA — In spending much more on national defence, the federal government might have to cut back in other areas, Prime Minister Mark Carney said Wednesday, as he hailed a new and more aggressive target of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to crank up its military budget over the next decade.

Those “trade-offs,” as Carney put it, are expected closer to 2030. But evolving threats and global dangers mean Canada must bolster the Canadian Armed Forces and devote tens of billions of dollars in annual spending to the military and defence-related infrastructure.

Oh No! Will the Trannies be made to do without?

He just signed the deal and can’t be bothered trying.
