Top soldier has second thoughts about recruiting public servants for reserves

Canada’s top soldier appears to be having second thoughts about recruiting public servants to augment reserve forces, adding they are already doing enough for defence.

Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Jennie Carignan and defence deputy minister Stefanie Beck signed a document on May 30, 2025, launching a plan to boost both the reserves and what is known as the Supplementary Reserve.

Antifa activists disrupt pro-life vigil for Charlie Kirk in the UK

Far-left protestors have disrupted a peaceful vigil for Charlie Kirk organized by the Manchester pro-life society.

On November 10, the pro-life student organization held a vigil in front of the University of Manchester, England, to honor Charlie Kirk and his contributions to the pro-life cause and freedom of speech. Over one hundred counter-protestors showed up, aggressively chanting pro-abortion slogans to drown out the speaker at the event.

100+ Babies Referred to UK‘s De-Radicalisation Programme ‘Prevent‘

Hundreds of very young children have been referred to the UK government’s counter-extremism programme before they’ve even had a chance to start school, the vast majority for “Islamist Extremism” concerns, figures reveal.

388 children of pre-school age were referred to the Prevent deradicalisation programme in the eight years leading to 2024, including 45 babies under one-years-old and 138 aged two or younger. The vast majority of these referrals are for “Islamist Extremism”.

If Canada is thrust into an election next week, it will be one of the strangest in living memory

If Canada is plunged into an election next week, we can already call it one of the most unwanted campaigns this country has ever seen.

Gord Johns, one of the New Democrat MPs who gets a vote on that matter next week, said it bluntly to the Star this week: “I know certainly Canadians don’t want an election,”

Yet Johns’ own party is looking seriously at getting itself election-ready, as my colleague Mark Ramzy reported. And what the NDP is contemplating would make this not just the most unwanted campaign ever, but also one of the weirdest.

Half of young Canadian men are at risk of ‘problem anger,’ survey finds … the other half haven’t read this article yet

Half of young Canadian men risk letting their anger interfere with their daily life, relationships and work, new research suggests.

A survey conducted by Intensions Consulting and the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF) found that 50 per cent of men between the ages of 19 and 29 are at risk of “problem anger,” compared to just 22 per cent of all Canadian men.

The findings reveal a “troubling reality” and warn of “deeper stress and disconnection from support systems” for young men, the CMHF said in a Wednesday press release.

Take Away: Just because the government destroyed your economic future and trashed your society through mass immigration from incompatible cultures is no reason to be angry!
