Victor Davis Hanson: ‘Open Borders,‘ ‘Globalism,‘ ‘Tribalism‘ Are Reminiscent of Rome‘s Collapse

“Every nation that has survived has had borders that were defensible and clear, and the idea was that they have their own space to inculcate their language or traditions or customs, then enhance their constitution. Without that, it’s just short of a migratory, 5th century A.D. Rome where people come across the Danube River and destroy the nation-state.”

As Tories review election loss, weak support in immigrant communities a crucial issue

Of the 41 ridings in Canada where more than half the population is racialized, the Conservatives won just one in the 2021 election — Calgary Forest Lawn

The Conservative Party is only beginning to sift through the data from the 2021 election, but there is at least one warning light flashing red on the dashboard: the party has been nearly wiped out in Canadian ridings where visible minorities form the majority.

The Conservative party must denounce white people if it is to have any hope of winning.

Big changes may be coming to Canada’s vetting of refugees

Apparently, the calls began early Monday morning, well before normal office hours.

The Sun’s exclusive on the massive expansion being contemplated by the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) for who gets into Canada as a refugee appeared online late last Sunday. Before the print edition had hit some doorsteps the next morning, senior staff at the IRB were already on a fishing expedition for the leaker.

Orban: Mass Migration Part of ‘Global Plan‘ to Create a ‘New Proletariat‘

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán believes the mass migration agenda is part of a “global plan” to create a “new proletariat” in the West, advanced by people who care nothing for culture and national identity and consider only economics.

He speaks the truth.

“That’s where Century Initiative comes in. We advocate for policies to increase Canada’s population to 100 million by 2100. And we support the long-term thinking and planning required to manage this growth well – ensuring a high quality of life and standard of living for all Canadians.”

The Century initiative is complete bullshit of course. Mass immigration means a smaller piece of the pie for the average Joe who can expect depressed wages and high costs due to contrived shortages. They don’t care where the bodies come from, people are simply a commodity to these monsters.

Scurrilous attacks on Tucker Carlson reveal the Dems’ panic over their racist plans being exposed

You can tell that Tucker Carlson is directly over the enemy target by the amount of flak sent his way. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), formerly a reputable, even noble group when it pursued its original goal, the protection of Jews from persecution, is once again trying to get Carlson fired from his job at Fox News, where he is the ratings champion, not merely of the network but of cable news in its entirety. His crime: accurately describing the strategy of the Democrats to import millions of people dependent on government benefits, so as to counteract the trend of native-born American voters toward conservatism. The theory is that people who want and need government benefits will vote Democrat.

Immigration Yes, Multiculturalism No

America benefits from immigration—when it thoroughly vets newcomers.

Despite being a lifelong New Yorker, I’ve been to Ellis Island only once, about 25 years ago, when some of my wife’s relatives were visiting. Wokeness, then known as political correctness, was already setting in, and immigration was becoming an issue in the culture wars. So, though I harbored warm feelings about immigrants and their contributions to this country, I steeled myself for an insufferable “celebration of diversity” and harangue about American nativism.

Sweden’s cultural revolution – The refugee crisis changed the country, and its politics, forever

“… Ironically, one of the reasons Sweden is far less polarised today than many other Western countries is probably the belated discovery that these consequences of immigration are in fact very real, and that methods of ”shaping the narrative” cannot really change material reality.

More critically, there is the realisation that nobody — certainly not middle class progressives — wants to live with those consequences at all. Crimeovercrowded schools, social and ethnic tensions, and violence toward ethnic Swedish children committed by gangs of immigrants have all conspired to cool attitudes on the subject. Indeed, the word förnedringsrån (literally “humiliation-robbery”) has now entered the Swedish lexicon as a term for robberies that display a particular sort of sadistic cruelty, where the aim of the perpetrators mostly seems to be to inflict pain and humiliation onto their victims. As such, it is hardly surprising that the recent fall of Kabul to the Taliban was not in fact met with calls to increase Sweden’s humanitarian commitment, but rather with conspicuous silence, except for a speech by Prime Minister Löfven promising that the country would “never return to the days of 2015”.

Every Canadian should read this.

Suspected terrorists crossing border ‘at a level we have never seen before,’ outgoing Border Patrol chief says

Unprecedented numbers of known or suspected terrorists have crossed the southern border in recent months, the outgoing Border Patrol chief said.

The head of the Border Patrol, Rodney Scott, told his 19,000 agents before retiring on Aug. 14 that their national security mission is paramount right now despite the Biden administration’s focus on migrant families and children who are coming across the United States-Mexico boundary at record rates.

Texas border town seeing ‘record-breaking’ numbers of stash houses of migrants evading Border Patrol

AUSTIN, Texas — More than 5,000 illegal immigrants have been discovered inside stash houses around Laredo, Texas, since last fall, according to local authorities, an indication of how many are evading Border Patrol agents at the United States-Mexico border and getting away.

Biden is on a roll.

Illegal aliens are bringing in things worse than COVID

At the beginning of June, we brought news to you about the 3,166% increase in the number of sex offenders caught on America’s southern border. Keep in mind that the more than three-thousand percent increase represented just those illegal aliens the border patrol was able to catch as hundreds of thousands of people from around the world have been pouring into America since Biden blatantly broke American law and opened the border. North Carolina is one of the states that posts people’s immigration status as part of reporting arrests, and July has been another impressive month.

Texas Has Had It With Biden’s Border Crisis. Gov. Abbott Is Taking Matter Into His Own Hands.

There is nothing like watching real patriots stand up and make a difference. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that Texas law enforcement has begun arresting illegal immigrants for trespassing.

“President Biden’s open-border policies have led to a humanitarian crisis at our southern border as record levels of illegal immigrants, drugs, and contraband pour into Texas,” Abbott said in a June 10 statement. “While securing the border is the federal government’s responsibility, Texas will not sit idly by as this crisis grows. The state is working collaboratively with communities impacted by the crisis to arrest and detain individuals coming into Texas illegally.”

Biden’s Border Crisis Is About To Make History

If the current trend continues, this will be a record-breaking year for illegal immigration on the southwest border.

You would never know it by perusing headlines in the corporate press, but the border crisis is getting worse, not better, as the summer goes on. In fact, it might well turn out to be historic.

Late last week U.S. Customs and Border Protection finally released June border apprehension numbers, which hit a 21-year high with more than 188,000 arrests last month and more than 1.1 million so far this fiscal year.

Cynical NY Times Whines GOP ‘Ready to Pounce’ on Biden Migrant Policy

The New York Times front page on Saturday reported that “Biden Is Facing New Pressures Over Migrants.” So far so good.

But the Times painted the Biden-encouraged rush to America’s southern border, where the number of apprehensions have hit record levels, as less an actual crisis and more of a worrisome political issue for Democrats, with the threat of Republicans (yes) “seizing” on it and hurting Biden and Democrats in the 2022 congressional elections. They also downplayed Biden’s campaign promises that helped fuel the border crisis.

Migrant arrests at the southern border rise for the SIXTH month in a row under Biden

Nap time.

More than one million migrants have now been apprehended at the southern border since October, new figures show.

Customs and Border Protection revealed that 188,829 migrants were stopped at the southwest border in June, the sixth monthly increase since the start of 2021.

It was also another increase on the 180,641 who were apprehended in May.
