While antisemitic slogans shouted during a weekend anti-Israel protest triggered a rare, online-only rebuke from the prime minister, Canadian Jewish groups blame the deafening silence from Canada’s political leaders for emboldening protesters, resulting in a conspicuous increase in hateful rhetoric.

A judge has dismissed an application to throw out the case of a Calgary man accused of going to Syria to fight with ISIS, for what the defence said were unreasonable delays in the court process.
Justice Corina Dario made the ruling on Monday, saying 34-year-old Jamal Borhot’s rights had not been violated, which allowed the trial to officially begin.
Borhot pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Ottawa police say they are investigating an allegation of hate speech that has emerged from a weekend protest on Parliament Hill.
Police say they received complaints about some of what was said during a pro-Palestinian demonstration Saturday about the Israel-Gaza war.
The protest featured demonstrators brandishing Palestinian flags and placards calling for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.

“October 7 is proof that we are almost free,” the speaker yelled as “protesters” marched past Parliament Hill. “Long live October 7th, long live the resistance,” the speaker called out to cheers from the crowd of thousands.
“October 7th Proves We’re Almost Free!”. The crowd goes wild.
“Long live October 7th!”Today, downtown Ottawa. No more euphemisms, they are openly promoting terrorism and violence towards Jews. This is intolerable and it is time for Canadians to speak up. pic.twitter.com/RVfnHEKReS

All of our PM’s pictured screwed Canada over by importing Islam.
In a just world they would be tried as terrorists.
Ordinary Canadians will suffer while they live out their lives in privileged isolation from the damage they have done.
The media and Pols add insult to injury by feigning shock that virulent antisemitism from the Islamo-left could be so widespread. It dashes their narrative that such hate could only originate from Right Wing islamophobic antisemitic White people.
To criminalize dissent the elites corrupted our intelligence services to lie that “white supremacism” was a threat equal to or greater than Islam.
No doubt copious tears are flowing around the Kumbaya Kool-Aid cooler.
I love to say it. TOLD YOU SO!
Gee all those cops for 1 guy?

After Katharine Birbalsingh had her prayer ban upheld, the head accused schools of failing to back UK values. One teacher, writing anonymously, reveals the troubling views of children as young as 11
‘The Taliban do let girls go to school,” boasted the teenage boy. “But they stop them when they turn 11, which is very fair.”
In an after-school detention, a handful of pupils were doing their best to convince me, their teacher, that Afghanistan was much nicer now the Taliban were in control. Nothing I said would convince them. It turned out these children not only supported gender inequality but were fans of executing all manner of criminals too.

The Orthodox rabbi at Columbia University and Barnard College issued a statement advising Jewish students to leave campus and return home because of ongoing demonstrations by anti-Israel activists that threaten their safety.
Rabbi Elie Buechler, director of OU-LJIC at Columbia/Barnard, urged students via WhatsApp to leave campus “as soon as possible” prior to the onset of Passover. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that “what we are witnessing in and around campus is terrible and tragic.”

A University of Oxford college that traditionally hosts a St George’s Day celebration has been accused of replacing it with Eid for the second year in row.
Magdalen College had held an annual formal dinner to remember England’s patron saint, attended by dons, students and fellows.
But this year only a banquet for Eid, the Islamic festival marking the end of Ramadan, has been advertised.

When I defined Belgium as “Europe’s first Muslim state” a year ago, it was not hyperbole.
Everything is going just great.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh will visit Recep Tayip Erdogan in Turkey, who wants to be sultan but is also head of the second largest NATO army.
Speaking of NATO, which has its headquarters in Brussels…

In a remote corner on a relatively isolated WAWA parking lot not far from my Philly home, I spotted a platinum-haired guy about 25 years old kneeling face-to-the-ground on a prayer mat. This non-Middle Eastern, Caucasian prayer penitent could have been any one of the local Catholic boys you sometimes see playing street hockey. I had to look twice: what is his story? How had he converted to Islam – or had he? And what do his poor parents think about that?

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is calling on Speaker Ted Arnott to reverse a ban on keffiyehs at Queen’s Park, describing the move as “needlessly” divisive.
“The decision to ban the keffiyeh was made by the speaker and the speaker alone. I do not support his decision as it needlessly divides the people of our province,” Ford said in a statement issued Wednesday evening.

A Moroccan asylum seeker accused of murdering a pensioner in revenge for Israeli attacks in Gaza told police he would have killed “thousands” if he had a gun, a court has heard.
Ahmed Alid, 45, is on trial for knifing Terence Carney to death in Hartlepool town centre, in October, eight days after the Hamas attacks.

The man convicted and sentenced to death for carrying out the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 is fighting to keep federal prosecutors from seizing the funds he has accumulated in his prison canteen account.
The Boston Herald reported an attorney for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 30, filed an appeal seeking to stop the feds in Boston from taking the $4,200-plus in Tsarnaev’s account, arguing the death row inmate “is neither hoarding funds nor spending profligately.”
