An extremist group banned in more than a dozen countries has launched a recruitment drive in an inner-city neighbourhood that is linked to more homegrown terrorists than anywhere else in the UK, The Times has learnt.
Hizb ut-Tahrir, whose purpose is to re-establish the caliphate in the Middle East with Sharia law, has relocated to the Sparkhill area of Birmingham, which has been home to several convicted terrorists, including the UK’s first al-Qaeda inspired terrorist.
Campaign materials for its youth roadshow, launched in July, make no mention of the group’s name and do not feature its usual logo of the Islamic state flag. They instead aim to present the group, which two prime ministers considered banning, as an innocuous community organisation.
Hizb ut-Tahrir Drama Queen – always the victim
An Islamist extremist group says Muslims could be locked up in Australian ‘concentration camps’ and compared the possibility to the Holocaust.
Hizb ut-Tahrir wants to restore an Islamic caliphate based on sharia law and is so extreme with its calls for jihad that it is banned in Muslim-majority nations across Asia and the Middle East.
Its spokesman in Australia Hamzah Qureshi told a conference at Campsie, in Sydney’s south-west, that ‘Australia had concentration camps’ during World War II and asked ‘could this treatment be the fate of Muslims in the near future?’.
An Islamist extremist group campaigning for sharia law has questioned whether Muslims have a future in Australia, and claims they are being treated as scapegoats for the county’s problems.
Hizb ut-Tahrir has a released a video accusing people in the West of blaming Muslims for a range of problems, including homelessness.
The group’s controversial spokesman Wassim Doureihi makes an appearance asking if Muslims could continue to live in Australia.
‘Do we have a future here in Australia?,’ he says.
The activities of Hizbut Tahrir were not in line with the pluralistic state ideology in Muslim-majority Indonesia, the nation’s top security minister said on Monday.
“After careful consideration, the government deems it necessary to take legal action to disband [the group] throughout Indonesia,” said Chief Security Minister Wiranto.Hizbut Tahrir wants to unite all Muslims in a global caliphate under Sharia law, but the movement insists it only uses non-violent means.
IT’S hard to imagine anything more ludicrous than two Muslim women trying to defend their faith against claims of misogyny, by discussing the implements that husbands can use to beat their misbehaving wives and describing the abuse as “a beautiful blessing”.
Striking a blow for women’s rights everywhere, the women demonstrated the correct manner in which they should be hit and the type of tools appropriate for the job, including a small stick.

The Canadian branch of the global Islamic movement Hizb ut-Tahrir plans to hold an event at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

Mazin AbdulAdhim of Hizb ut-Tahrir Canada on the worth of women as witnesses… ” We don’t hear jokes about husbands being irrational, do we? No, we hear jokes about women being irrational. This does not mean that all women are irrational, but most women are. This is their deficiency in their minds.”

What may be Canada’s fastest growing Islamist group believes that all Canadian soldiers are war criminals.1 The perceived leader of the Canadian arm of the group says publicly that Muslims should not vote in elections unless they are voting for Sharia Law. Hizb ut-Tahrir is able to grow as it has a fluid organizational system and receives considerable practical support from government officials such as the Mayor of Mississauga and the City of Hamilton.
The Canadian public frequently questions why Canada has produced a growing stream of suicide bombers, martyrs, ISIS propagandists and a string of jihadist fighters for a variety of Islamist causes. One reason, and perhaps the primary one, is that Canada has a series of Islamist extremist groups that create the necessary social, political and cultural space for an extremist ideology to blossom into political violence; that is to say terrorism.
A Radical Muslim group has been found guilty of discriminating against women after making them sit at the back of public meetings.
The landmark finding came after a Sydney woman took on the global political party Hizb ut-Tahrir.
The group will now be forced to mend their ways.
“Helping Syrian refugees coming to Canada and building an Islamic caliphate are part of the same cause, according to a pro-sharia speaker at an Islamic conference in Hamilton.
And now Mohawk College, on whose property the event took place, says the group isn’t welcome back.”
They’ll just find another venue for the next event, and soon you’ll see his picture in the paper as he’s embraced by our politicians.
That’s how our political class rolls.
Australia’s race discrimination commissioner has slammed a controversial Islamic group over its claims “de-radicalisation” amounts to forced assimilation.
Hizb ut-Tahrir held a large conference at Bankstown in south-western Sydney on Sunday and told the more than 500 men, women and children who attended that Muslims were being demonised over their faith.
Roughly 500 members of the Islamist organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) gathered in Denmark’s capital city of Copenhagen on Friday, calling for Shariah law for European countries, as well as “jihad” to “free” the Palestinian territories. The march, which took place on Friday, appears to have garnered little media attention, as has the shooting which took place in the same location just 24-hours later at a Shia Muslim ceremony.
The City of Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre hosted the 2015 annual conference of an extremist group that calls upon Muslims not to vote, advocates the execution of anyone who leaves Islam and supports a global caliphate. The group also says that jihad is a duty and it should be commenced even if the enemy does not attack. The speaker, who calls all Canadian soldiers war criminals, has told Canadian Muslims it is Haram (forbidden) to vote in elections because Muslims can only vote for leaders who support Sharia Law. An audio tape recorded at the meeting reveals the extremist content of the presentation.
Hizb ut Tahrir publicly debuted in Canada in 2009. Their first event at a venue in Mississauga was cancelled after a public outcry.
These are the hard core bent on our destruction and they have grown both bolder and more active during the past year in Canada.
I have no answer for dealing with them other than to halt Muslim immigration so as to mitigate the damage already done.
Here’s a sample of Hizb ut Tahrir beliefs.
Men sat at the front of the lecture theatre while women were up the back.
A UNIVERSITY address by radical Muslim group Hizb ut-Tahrir saw women sent to the back of the lecture theatre while men took their place at the front.
“Brothers to the front and sisters to the back” was the message from the preachers who were invited to speak at the meeting in sydney’s west on Thursday night.
The Daily Telegraph reports men and women were segregated before the lecture to students at the University of Western Sydney’s Parramatta campus began.
Women were ushered through a door marked “sisters” at the rear of the hall, while the “brothers” entered through another door and were told to take their place in “the front five rows”, the Telegraph reports.
The lecture, featuring several speakers from the radical group, focused heavily on problems facing Muslims that were “the result of Western ideology.”
The organisation, which claims to be a peaceful “political party”, was highlighted by Prime Minister Tony Abbott as an “organisation blatantly spreading discord and division”.
Muslim community elder Keysar Trad said it was not unusual at Islamic gatherings for men and women to sit apart…
No surprises here.
London: A radical Islamist group, which has an active recruiting presence at many British universities, may have links with an al-Qaeda backed terror outfit in Syria, media here reported on Saturday.
The UK arm of Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) has a strong following at University of Westminster where Mohammed Emwazi — dubbed Islamic State (IS) militant Jihadi John — was a student.
The group, whose name translates into Party of Liberation, has launched attack on civil activists in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, aided by al-Qaeda led Nusra Front, The Times newspaper reported.
