“In Nigeria, where half the population is Christian, several attacks have caused hundreds of deaths among the faithful. It was in Plateau state, in the center of the country, that Christian communities from 26 different villages were massacred. On 27 December the toll amounted to 200 dead and 500 injured. Several groups of armed men – Muslims from the north – descended on these small towns and caused a massacre, deliberately targeting civilians identified as Christians.

As the Biden administration continues to promote the idea of having a “revitalized” Palestinian Authority (PA) govern the Gaza Strip the day after the current Israel-Hamas war, PA leaders are again proving why they are not much different from the Iran-backed Islamist terrorists who want to destroy Israel and murder Jews.

Anti-Israel radicals staged an insurrection in the California State Assembly on Wednesday, shutting down the first day of the state legislative session and forcing lawmakers to flee. There were no arrests, as insurrectionists were allowed to linger in the chamber.

A leading conservative who led the charge to get former Harvard President Claudine Gay fired is now challenging her New York Times essay to claim she lied about ‘promptly’ requesting corrections of plagiarized work.

Gay, 53, resigned on Tuesday – after just six months in the role – and spoke for the first time since her ouster in a New York Times op-ed claiming her dismissal over plagiarism and anti-Semitism scandals was actually the result of a racist campaign.

Now, conservative activist Christopher Rufo, who first publicly raised allegations of plagiarism in her work, is challenging her op-ed saying, ‘Claudine Gay is lying in the New York Times. She did not “promptly [request] corrections.”‘

Leftists and their corporate media allies are blaming conservatives for the ouster of former Harvard president and apparent plagiarist Claudine Gay, who formally resigned from her job Tuesday after being accused of nearly 50 instances of plagiarism.

The Associated Press ran an op-ed Wednesday complaining that Gay’s “resignation highlights [a] new conservative weapon against colleges: plagiarism.” The problem, according to AP authors Collin Binkley and Moriah Balingit, isn’t that Gay pirated the work of other educators to climb the academic ladder, but that conservatives “zeroed in” on Gay in a “coordinated campaign.” 

Blocking highways and disrupting public events on behalf of Nazis.

It’s astounding to think that a war anywhere in the world would become such a public cause by supporters of one side or another that it would dominate and even hijack the public space. That has not happened even with Russia’s attack on Ukraine, even with the wide display of blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag in solidarity with their plight, and a corresponding wide boycott of Russia and Russian products.

Two Toronto councillors are calling a fire at a deli in North York a deliberate act and a hate crime.

Toronto Fire responded to a call around 6 a.m. Wednesday for a commercial fire at International Deli Foods in the area of Steeles Avenue and Keele Street.

The UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, a local Jewish charity, has launched a lawsuit against a Brampton company that described itself as a broker of transportation services, for allegedly “refusing to provide services to Jews.”

In the statement of claim for the lawsuit, obtained by the Star, UJA said it paid a nearly $70,000 deposit to secure 27 buses for transporting people to a rally against antisemitism in Ottawa early last month. Most buses never showed and the money was never returned, the group alleges.
