Dutch police have threatened to report parents for taking their children to Extinction Rebellion protests

Extinction Rebellion should leave kids alone

Greta Thunberg Climate Hysteria Puppet

My son’s class is studying climate change this term. At dinner the other night he announced with a certain relish that in 300 years’ time, both our house and the school would be submerged beneath the English Channel, as the oceans rise and the impressive-seeming sea defences visible from our front door are exposed as mere pitiful hubris. A terrifying prospect, but I’ll keep paying the mortgage all the same. Don’t meet trouble halfway and all that.

A grim report about climate change in Ontario was kept quiet for 8 months

Southern Ontario to see 60 days of temperatures over 30 degrees by 2080s: report

A new report commissioned by Premier Doug Ford’s government warns that climate change poses high risks to Ontario, with impacts on everything from food production to infrastructure to businesses.

The report – called the Provincial Climate Change Impact Assessment – projects a soaring number of days with extreme heat across Ontario, as well as increases in flooding and more frequent wildfires.

Presented to the government in January but only posted publicly in late August, the government did not issue a news release about the report. It follows a summer where Ontarians faced at times extreme heat, heavy rainstorms and unprecedented wildfire smoke.

Boy that’s some entrail reader they must have. Imagine being able to predict the temperature in the 2080’s.

These are the same guys who think EV’s are a smart move.

Justin Trudeau and Doug Ford’s EV battery plant subsidies might not pay off for two decades, watchdog says

OTTAWA—It will take 20 years for the federal and Ontario governments to recover the $28.2 billion in subsidies they are pouring into new Stellantis and Volkswagen electric vehicle battery plants, according to a new analysis from Ottawa’s budget watchdog.

This “break-even timeline” looks at both factories, but the federal Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) noted Tuesday that it is “significantly longer” than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s original claim that it would take less than five years to recover public dollars going to the Volkswagen facility.

The WEF and the Climate Cult: Colluding for a World-wide Welfare State

One should never underestimate the Left’s propensity for projecting its sins upon its victims; nor, when the Left does manage to admit the destructive effects of their regressive ideology, to proclaim these disastrous consequences as fundamental transformational and “liberation.” To avoid such a fraught misunderstanding, one must ever remember the Left perverts the purported rationale of every entity captured in their “long march” through the institutions.

To wit: The World Economic Forum (WEF).

The ‘Climate Emergency’ Is a Hoax

More than 1,600 scientists, including two Nobel laureates, have signed a declaration saying that “There is no climate emergency.” The declaration is unlikely to get any attention from the mainstream media, unfortunately, but it is important for people to know about: the mass climate hysteria and the destruction of the US economy in the name of climate change need to stop.

“Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific,” states the declaration signed by the 1,609 scientists, including Nobel laureates John F. Clauser from the US and Ivar Giaever from Norway/US.

More Climate Fairy Tales

What a great summer it’s been for climate activists.

It’s been a good summer for climate activists who are pushing the false narrative of “climate change.”

We had the Canadian wildfires with smoke drifting into other parts of North America. Then there were hotter than usual temperatures in many parts of the country (it’s summertime and I predict temperatures will drop this fall, winter and spring, as usual), followed by a devastating fire in Maui, and then Hurricane Idalia.

WARMINGTON: Politicians always have lots to say about wildfires, except when arson charges laid

There was no social media post on X from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about this little piece of news.

Same goes from Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault or former Environment Minister Catherine McKenna.

But police in Quebec have charged a man with arson for several allegedly deliberately set fires in northern Quebec in what was a major criminal investigation that could be the stuff of movies.

Conrad Black: Steven Guilbeault’s destructive crusade against Canadian prosperity

Canada’s minister of environment and climate change, Steven Guilbeault, has been an activist all of his conscient life.

He co-founded an organization that rejoiced in the name Action for Solidarity, Equity, Environment and Development. In 2001, when he was in his early 30s, he scaled the CN Tower like Spiderman to an altitude of 340 metres and unfurled a banner proclaiming “Canada and Bush — Climate Killers.”

John Ivison: Steven Guilbeault opts for distortion over discernment

Liar.

The comments made last week by activist-turned-politician Steven Guilbeault about the need for a cap on oil and gas emissions suggest the environment minister has embraced his new vocation with enthusiasm.

Few things work as well for a Liberal MP as bashing Alberta, the equivalent of Mordor for many eastern progressives.

‘The green movement is a disinformation campaign’

Michael Shellenberger explains why climate change is not the end of the world.

The planet is on fire – and it’s all our fault. That has become the abiding mantra of the climate movement. This summer, wildfires from Greece to Hawaii have been portrayed as nature’s punishment for mankind’s polluting activities. Each disaster has been treated as a portent of the End Times. Reining in human development, we’re told, is the only way to avert an even more serious catastrophe. But is there any truth to these apocalyptic claims?
