London-based ‘Hamas operative’ behind Greta Thunberg’s Gaza flotilla

A man accused of being “a Hamas operative” based in London is a key figure behind Greta Thunberg’s Gaza-bound aid boat, it emerged on Monday.

Zaher Birawi, who was described in Parliament as a person with links to Hamas, describes himself as a “founding member” of the Freedom Flotilla International Coalition, which arranged the voyage by the aid boat Madleen.

Israeli forces boarded and seized the boat on Sunday – detaining the 12 pro-Palestinian activists it was carrying, including Ms Thunberg – as it attempted to bring a “symbolic” amount of aid to Gaza in defiance of an Israeli naval blockade.

Insufferable scold Greta Thunberg is unfortunately alive and in good hands

Israeli forces take control of Gaza aid boat carrying Greta Thunberg

Israel’s military took control of a boat trying to deliver food to Palestinians in Gaza in the early hours of Monday morning, and brought its crew of activists including Greta Thunberg to an Israeli port.

The Madleen was making a symbolic attempt to break to the blockade of Gaza and raise awareness of a looming “starvation crisis”.

It was never likely to get through Israel’s naval blockade of the territory, where UN-backed experts have warned of looming famine, and dozens of people have been killed by Israeli forces trying to reach food distribution centres.

‘Violation of int’l law’: Hamas, foreign government attack Israel over Gaza flotilla’s interception

Varying reactions were issued on Monday after the IDF intercepted the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, Madleen, early in the morning. Foreign ministries with citizens on board the ship confirmed that they have requested consular access.

Is Climate Change Destroying the Environment?

Like most zany progressive schemes, the climate change cult has tremendous potential to create unintended consequences.

A recent article in the Washington Post  caught my eye. It outlined the astounding loss of over 3 million birds among breeding adults — 30 percent of the adult population — in the last half century (waterfowl are an exception due to wetlands protection). The article goes on to discuss possible causes. Not surprisingly loss of habitat was among them. Then, of course, the leading usual suspect was rounded up; that being climate change.

The Post — being the Post — did not dare to bring up solar and wind farms as culprits. That is the third rail of the Green-Industrial Complex and the Post, New York Times, and NPR dare not touch it for fear of offending their elite progressive base; or are birds and butterflies sacrifices on the altar of climate change?

‘It’s high spirits’: life aboard Greta Thunberg’s Gaza-bound flotilla

On board a 60ft UK-flagged yacht bound for Gaza, Greta Thunberg and her fellow crew members are preparing for the moment — perhaps today, perhaps tomorrow — when Israel confronts them in full view of the world.

“I would say it’s fairly calm, but high spirits. We are very happy to be actually going, to be sailing,” Thunberg, 22, told me in a voice message sent from the vessel.

The climate activist is one of 12 crew aboard the Madleen, which left Catania, Sicily, last week. They have set course for Gaza with supplies including baby formula, rice and nappies, and an aim of breaking the naval blockade imposed by Israel on the coastal strip and raising awareness of the plight of Palestinians.

Undercover at Youth Demand’s awards for arrested activists

Clapping and cheering filled the basement room of a London community centre on a grey Saturday afternoon in May.

Two masters of ceremony were awarding prizes to everyone who had been arrested while carrying out protests for Youth Demand, blocking roads in the capital to the aggravation of motorists. There was a badge of honour for the bravest protesters.

There was an award called “Rizzing up the resistance” for everyone who had led chants or “generally brought the vibe”, and another called “Fried for Falestine” for those who had been burnt by a flare.

The Hurricane Hoax: What the IPCC Doesn’t Want You to Know

June 1st has arrived, marking the official start of hurricane season… and, like clockwork, the beginning of another season of climate propaganda. For the media and the climate-industrial complex, every low-pressure system is an opportunity to push a fear-driven narrative: that hurricanes are getting stronger, more frequent, and more deadly due to human-caused climate change.

Global Greening From Higher CO2 Hits “Striking” New Heights – but the Mainstream Media Won’t Tell You About It

Significant new evidence has emerged of widespread and significant increases in plant vegetation across the Earth due to the recent rise of the trace gas carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Using what they describe as True Significant Trends – a workflow programme integrating sophisticated spatial and time-period data – a geographer and an agrobiologist in Spain found “robust quantitative evidence” of widespread global greening, describing it as “striking” – “with a significant portion of Earth’s terrestrial land surface showing measurable increases in vegetation cover over the last four decades”.

The Greens are the favorite Western boatmen of the Muslim Brotherhood

Six years ago Greta Thunberg, the environmental icon who had seduced everyone (the Pope, Macron, the media, the UN), sailed towards America. Greta sailed with Pierre Casiraghi’s catamaran “Malizia II” towards the Climate Action Summit in New York.

Casiraghi is the younger son of Caroline, Princess of Hanover and the grandson of King Ranier and Grace Kelly of Monaco and on the management committee of the Yacht Club, very rich in sponsors: Rolex, Credit Suisse, Hermès, the luxury group LVMH and BMW, known for its cars of a not exactly eco-friendly range.

Belgians accused of stealing wind from Dutch turbines

Belgians who view their Dutch neighbours to the north as stereotypically stingy, arrogant and noisy may have found a novel way to take the wind out of the Netherlands’ sails.

As the North Sea fills with offshore renewable energy farms, Belgians have been accused of stealing wind from Dutch turbines.

A huge expansion of wind power in the region is having an impact on atmospheric stability and affecting the wind in the wake of wind farms, snatching power from neighbouring turbines. Some wind farms in Belgium are taking up to 3 per cent of generating power from Dutch installations, posing the risk of future conflicts over air currents.

Growth of wind ‘farms’ put Golden Eagle on ‘path to possible extinction’

A species that’s been ranked as a “least concern” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (ICUN) is now on a fast track to “possible extinction.”

And, like essentially all the chaos, brokenness, and death one can observe in the modern world, if you unravel the thread to get to the why, you’ll no doubt arrive at a leftist policy in some capacity.

A drastic increase in violent crime? Look no further than the federal government’s “war on poverty,” open borders, and the promotion of godlessness.

Study shows men emit 26% more pollution due to eating red meat and driving more … calls for men bans mount

Car use and meat consumption drive emissions gender gap, research suggests

Cars and meat are major factors driving a gender gap in greenhouse gas emissions, new research suggests.

Men emit 26% more planet-heating pollution than women from transport and food, according to a preprint study of 15,000 people in France. The gap shrinks to 18% after controlling for socioeconomic factors such as income and education.

Eating red meat and driving cars explain almost all of the 6.5-9.5% difference in pollution that remains after also accounting for men eating more calories and travelling longer distances, the researchers said. They found no gender gap from flying.

Parents swap plastic toys for compost kits in eco-conscious party bags

Parents are swapping plastic toys for compost kits and bird feeders in eco-conscious party bags.

Climate concerns mean they are ditching traditional goodie bags that have been the staple of children’s parties for years, turning to plastic-free alternatives such as books, bird feeders, seed kits and candles.

Those kids should runaway.
