Instead, CBC raised the profile of Sean Feucht in Canada and showed just how politicized their news coverage has become.

Canada’s beleaguered national broadcaster should have been privatized long ago.
There are endless reasons why. The CBC’s budget is bloated. The organization’s accountability to taxpayers who foot the bill is virtually nil. And journalists shouldn’t have their salaries paid for by the government. Full stop.

Parks Canada says a U.S. singer and rising star in the MAGA movement will not perform at a national historic site near Halifax after the federal agency revoked the organizer’s permit, but the show is slated to go on at a new venue.
Christian rocker Sean Feucht was scheduled to play a concert on Wednesday night at the York Redoubt National Historic Site, a fortification constructed in 1793 to help protect the port city.
Feucht, who unsuccessfully ran for U.S. Congress as a Republican in 2020, is also a missionary and an author who has spoken out against the 2SLGBTQ+ community, abortion rights and critical race theory on his website.
Only the far left extremists of the CBC could write this with a straight face.
OTTAWA — Just months after Canada’s national broadcaster announced the end of big-money bonuses to its senior execs, newly-obtained documents suggest the CBC handed out a record-setting amount of raises during the previous fiscal year.
In access-to-information documents obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, the CBC handed out no bonuses in 2024-25, but awarded $37.7 million in wage hikes to 6,295 employees.

The Canadian state broadcaster is normalizing queer and transgender ideology for children through its 405,000-subscriber CBC Kids channel on YouTube.
CBC/Radio‑Canada, which receives approximately $1.4 billion a year in direct government funding, actively promotes gender ideology to young children — a controversial push driven by its official corporate DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) policies.

The number of staff at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation collecting six figure salaries has more than doubled since 2015, according to access-to-information records obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
“Taxpayers don’t need all these extra CBC employees taking six-figure salaries,” said Franco Terrazzano, CTF Federal Director. “The government should save money by taking air out of its highly paid bureaucracy and that includes Crown corporations like the CBC.”

The Conservative party is calling for a parliamentary committee to investigate the CBC after journalist Travis Dhanraj resigned over the public broadcaster’s alleged “performative diversity, tokenism, a system designed to elevate certain voices and diminish others.”
Dhanraj was the host of Canada Tonight: With Travis Dhanraj on CBC. But he resigned on Monday, involuntarily, he says, because the CBC “has made it impossible for me to continue my work with integrity.”

The complaints come from across the political spectrum. Some are polite and thoughtfully worded. Some less so. They often include sentences like these recent examples:
