Whoops! Scott Adams is in trouble for expressing dismay that a Rasmussen poll showed that an ultra-minority of African-Americans (47% to be exact) do not think that “It’s OK to be White,” and therefore insisting that White people should consider “moving away from them.”

No violence. No armed revolt. No “supremacy” this and that. No racial slurs expressed. While only removing some of his emotive profanities, just consider moving away.

Over the weekend, the publisher Puffin announced that it had scrubbed language deemed “insensitive” and “non-inclusive” from the works of Roald Dahl, the classic children’s book author, in some cases rewriting whole sentences and sections to align with contemporary progressive mores.

A Canadian social worker’s claim that she was fired by her government employer over private tweets about her gender views and her association with Jordan Peterson has been confirmed by the best-selling author and podcast host.

Peterson could not be reached for comment, but he tweeted on Feb. 10 that the social worker’s account is “true,” and that she is using an alias “because of nonstop harassment.” He posted the link to a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign organized by the woman, who is going by the name of Reena Kaur.

Comedienne Roseanne Barr, making a comeback on the comedy stage in a new TV special, railed against woke agendas and cancel culture.

Since this is Black History Month, let’s talk about Nancy Green, the first Black corporate spokesperson in the United States. A few years ago, her identity was erased by progressive woke insanity, intent on destroying our nation’s rich and evolving heritage and history.

Green was born a slave in 1834 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. (The 1900 census shows her birth as 1854, but slave births were not precisely recorded, and the handwritten “3” might have been misread as a “5”.) When she died in 1923, Green was a national celebrity having become America’s first living trademark.

An Ontario elementary school has cancelled Valentine’s Day on the grounds that the traditional celebration of love could “negatively impact our families and students.”

“While we acknowledge the celebration of Valentine’s Day, and are mindful of the popularity of that day, it is not celebrated by all students/families in our community,” reads a notice sent to parents and subsequently forwarded to local media.

Choirs performing at international rugby matches at the Principality Stadium have been banned from singing the Tom Jones classic, Delilah.

The stadium said it would no longer be performed by choirs after removing it from half-time playlists in 2015.

The song has caused controversy, with lyrics depicting the murder of a woman by her jealous partner.

A stadium spokesman said it was “respectfully aware that it is problematic”.

The Alberta government says changes are coming to further protect free speech on campuses as a former professor speaking out on so-called “woke” policies prepares for a showdown with the University of Lethbridge.

Advanced Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides says he plans to announce the changes in the coming days but did not give details.

He was responding to the case of Frances Widdowson, a former tenured professor at Calgary’s Mount Royal University, who was invited then disinvited to speak on campus this week about her concerns that a mob mentality and “woke policies” increasingly threaten academic freedom.

The University of Lethbridge says a speech by a former Mount Royal University professor who was fired in 2021 amid an uproar over her controversial comments on residential schools won’t be allowed space on campus.

But the academic says she still intends to show up and give her talk entitled, “How ‘Woke-ism Threatens Academic Freedom.'”

“They will have to call security and forcibly haul me away to stop me,” Frances Widdowson wrote to CBC News in an email on Monday.
