Disabled Canadian Army veteran Paralympian blasts government for offering to EUTHANIZE her when she complained about how long it was taking to install stairlift at her home

A disabled veteran in Canada has slammed her government for offering to euthanize her when she grew frustrated at delays in having a wheelchair lift installed in her home.

Retired Army Corporal Christine Gauthier, a former Paralympian, testified in Parliament on Thursday that a Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) caseworker made the assisted suicide offer.

After years of frustrating delays in getting the home lift, Gauthier says the caseworker told her: ‘Madam, if you are really so desperate, we can give you medical assistance in dying now.’

Canadian officials knew for years existing laws didn’t curb foreign influence

Canadian officials have known for years that the country’s existing laws did not cover foreign governments’ interference in domestic politics, documents reviewed by Global News suggest.

The documents were unearthed just as Canada’s public safety minister said the government was looking at ways to beef up its defence against foreign influence in domestic affairs.

Canada sanctions former Tehran police chief spotted in Toronto-area gym in 2021

Don’t believe a thing this lying punk says.

Canada has sanctioned a high-profile former Tehran police chief whose appearance at a Toronto-area gym last year sparked outrage and allegations that Canada is a haven for high-ranking members of Iran’s regime and their relatives.

Morteza Talaei is a retired second brigadier general with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and was in charge of Tehran’s police in 2003 when Iranian-Canadian photojournalist Zahra Kazemi was beaten to death in custody.

Kazemi was arrested in 2003 for taking photos of Tehran’s notorious Evin prison, where protests were taking place over students detained by the regime.

Communist China Operating Illegal Police Stations Worldwide

China has set up at least 54 overseas police stations in 30 countries, including in the United States (New York), Canada, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina and Nigeria, according to a recent report from Safeguard Defenders, a human rights NGO. Most of these police stations are located in Europe, with nine such police stations in major Spanish cities, four in Italy, and three in Paris, among others.

I hope the Commie 5th Columnists operating in our country are publicly identified and criminally charged, jailed, stripped of citizenship, assets confiscated and deported on completion of very long sentences.

Of course I’m dreaming.

Our China class will ensure they’re handled with Kid Gloves.

Liberals to consult public on merits of a foreign agent registry, Mendicino says

OTTAWA – The federal government is preparing to consult the public on the possible creation of a foreign agent registry as a means of preventing outside interference in Canadian affairs, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino says.

The Liberals want to hear from experts and the broader public — including members of affected communities — on whether it should follow the lead of key allies including the United States and Australia in establishing a registry.

The government acknowledges that foreign governments and organizations routinely try to influence Canadian policies, officials and democratic processes in clearly visible and legal ways — for instance, through diplomatic channels.

By consulting the “Public” Marco means Canada’s China Class.

Snubbed by Canada, Germany goes all-in with autocratic Qatar for its gas

The assholes destroying Canada.

After an energy-hungry Germany was snubbed by Canada, Berlin has instead gone all-in on a gas contract with Qatar, the small, autocratic nation currently hosting the World Cup.

This week, German firms announced a 15-year contract to buy roughly two million tonnes of LNG per year of Qatari natural gas.

Canada Summoned Chinese Ambassador Over Reports of Unofficial Police Stations on Canadian Soil

Canada has made official complaints to the Chinese ambassador in regard to reports of unofficial Chinese police service stations operating in Canada, a senior official from the foreign affairs department told MPs.

Weldon Epp, director general for Global Affairs Canada’s Asia Pacific Bureau, testified at the House Canada-China committee on Nov. 29, that his department has formally raised objections to the China ambassador in response to reports of over 50 unofficial Chinese police service stations around the world. The revelations were first reported by Spain-based human rights NGO Safeguard Defenders in a September report aimed at investigating Beijing’s long-arm policing and transnational repression.

“We’ve had several engagements. We’ve called the ambassador in on multiple occasions, and we’ve conveyed our deep concern,” he said.

Matt Taibbi, Douglas Murray Dominate Trust-in-Media Debate – Trucker Convoy featured prominently

Toronto — Conservative commentator Douglas Murray and veteran reporter Matt Taibbi soundly defeated their opponents in a Wednesday evening debate on the question of whether to trust the mainstream media, convincing a significant segment of the audience to abandon their faith in an institution they say is hopelessly compromised by bias.

… The Canadian trucker protests featured prominently in the debate. During Murray’s opening remarks, the British commentator and fellow National Review contributor, laid into Prime Minister Trudeau and Canadian media outlets for failing to challenge the government-approved narrative that the protests were organized by bigots of various stripes.

“The Canadian mainstream media acted as an amen chorus of the Canadian government,” Murray argued. “Now why is this is rancid? So utterly, utterly, rancid and corrupt? Because in this country your media–your mainstream media–is funded by the government.”

Trudeau government accepts and parrots climate misinformation

The end is nigh. We know this because the United Nations has said so — again.

In its Emissions Gap Report 2022, the UN Environment Programme alarmingly declares that “only an urgent system-wide transformation can avoid climate disaster.” Policies currently in place, the report says, will result in global temperatures rising to 2.8 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

Canada’s On Track To Become A Giant Liberal Party Abattoir: Justice Minister David Lametti Says Suicide & Euthanasia The Same Thing

Justice Minister David Lametti under fire for ‘unbelievable’ comparisons between euthanasia and suicide

Did Justice Minister David Lametti say the quiet part out loud?

In a recent interview for the Star’s “It’s Political” podcast, Lametti conflated medical assistance in dying (MAID) and suicide. After I expressed reservations about the expansion of MAID in March to people with mental illness without adequate social and medical supports, Lametti told me to “remember that suicide generally is available to people. This is a group within the population who, for physical reasons and possibly mental reasons, can’t make that choice themselves to do it themselves. And ultimately, this provides a more humane way for them to make a decision they otherwise could have made if they were able in some other way.”

Socialism always ends in mass murder. It’s a feature not a bug.

Trudeau says he has no knowledge of China funding federal candidates, sidesteps questions of election interference

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he’s never received any intelligence that China clandestinely funded federal candidates in the 2019 and 2021 elections but dodged repeated questions about whether he was ever informed of efforts by Beijing to interfere in Canadian elections or domestic politics.

The leaders of the Conservative Party and Bloc Québécois mounted a concerted bid on Tuesday to find out what exactly the Prime Minister knew about Chinese election meddling after the RCMP announced Monday it is investigating Chinese interference in Canadian affairs.

A Lament for a Nation, or Bye-Bye Miss Canadian Pie

It is very hard to maintain one’s composure when speaking to ordinary Canadians about the disaster in the making that is Canada today. I have engaged personally and via email over the last two years with literally hundreds of my fellow countrymen from all walks of life on the subjects of the national debt, the deficit, the sunsetting of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the draconian and illegal Covid and vaccine mandates and the turbo maladies that flow from them, the various repressive bills sieving through Parliament, the vicious and lying government and media campaign against the Trucker Freedom Convoy, and the unconscionable behavior of the most vindictiveincompetent and unpatriotic prime minister in the history of Confederation.

Junior the hypocrite says Canada stands with people ‘expressing themselves’ amid China COVID-19 protests …

Canada stands with people “expressing themselves” in a rare wave of protests across multiple cities in China, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says.

He made the comment on his way into a cabinet meeting Tuesday morning, as China grapples with its biggest public display of dissent since the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests — which ended in a massacre when the army violently crushed the student-led pro-democracy movement.

RCMP investigating Chinese interference in Canadian affairs, Commissioner says … Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink

The RCMP is investigating broad foreign interference by China in Canadian affairs, says Commissioner Brenda Lucki, but she declined to detail precisely what type of activities are being probed by the federal police force.

In a letter sent on Monday to a House of Commons committee studying possible Beijing interference in the 2019 general election, Commissioner Lucki said Mounties lacked evidence of wrongdoing in that vote but they are looking at wider interference by China, including “interference in democratic processes” in Canada.

Bullshit. The LPC and Canada’s China class won’t allow it.

Promoting Social Justice, Climate Change Cooperation in Indo-Pacific Does Nothing to Deter China

The Trudeau administration finally produced its vaunted “Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy” and it wasn’t worth the wait. To be fair, it’s not easy to write national strategy documents that are both vague and trite. But if you’re going to try, especially because you’re strongly suspected of having no strategy and no clue, you need to create something muscular.
