Hunter Biden offers to change not guilty plea in tax case

LOS ANGELES — Hunter Biden intends to change his plea from not guilty to accepting a sentencing that would come from a guilty verdict in the federal tax case against him, his attorney Abbe Lowell said Thursday.

The reversal was made shortly before jury selection was expected to begin in what would have been Biden’s second trial this year. The only surviving son of President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden is the first offspring of a sitting president to stand trial on criminal charges.

Judge Rules Hunter Biden Can’t Blame His Addiction, Sordid Behavior on ‘Irrelevant’ Life Tragedies in Tax Evasion Trial

Hunter Biden’s defense team in his upcoming tax evasion trial will not be allowed to introduce evidence that childhood and family trauma caused his spiral into crack cocaine and alcohol addiction, a judge has ruled. The federal district court judge, Mark Scarsi, ruled that the 1972 car crash that killed Biden’s mother and baby sister, and the death of his older brother, Beau Biden, in 2015, are “irrelevant” to the case.

Biden Committed ‘Impeachable Conduct’ to Further Family Influence-Peddling Scheme, House Republicans Allege in Final Report

House Republicans have concluded their impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden after finding that the president engaged in “impeachable conduct” to further his family’s years-long influence-peddling campaign, which racked up more than $27 million from foreign sources made to believe they could influence the operations of American government through their access to the Biden family.

DOJ and the Media Are the Real Story in Belated Biden Corruption Revelations

Here is what the New York Times doesn’t tell you.

I can’t decide which is my favorite part of the story dribbled out by the media-Democrat complex’s mothership last night.

It’s probably the part, 16 paragraphs down, in which the New York Times explains how it knew the Biden-Harris State Department was stonewalling on the production of documents showing that, while Joe Biden was vice president, his ne’er-do-well son Hunter beseeched the Obama-Biden State Department to lobby the Italian government on behalf of Burisma — the corrupt Ukrainian energy company that was lavishly paying Hunter so it could have access to Vice President Biden and his political influence.

Elites decide Hunter Biden can finally be a scandal now that Joe is out

Hunter Biden is a corrupt con artist who used his father’s position to leverage the government and make himself millions.

Now that Joe Biden has been pushed aside, officials are allowed to admit this, and the New York Times is allowed to report it.

It’s rotten, unscrupulous, cynical hypocrisy.

Emails reveal that Hunter, while his father was vice president, wrote a letter to the US ambassador to Italy, asking for introductions to help the Ukraine gas company Burisma land a lucrative contract with Italy.

From the NYTimesHunter Biden Sought State Department Help for Ukrainian Company

Hunter Biden sought assistance from the U.S. government for a potentially lucrative energy project in Italy while his father was vice president, according to newly released records and interviews.

The records, which the Biden administration had withheld for years, indicate that Hunter Biden wrote at least one letter to the U.S. ambassador to Italy in 2016 seeking assistance for the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, where he was a board member.

Embassy officials appear to have been uneasy with the request from the son of the sitting vice president on behalf of a foreign company.

Hunter Biden allegedly paid in Romanian ‘influence’ plot

US prosecutors in Hunter Biden’s tax evasion case have accused him of accepting money from a Romanian oligarch who sought to “influence US government agencies”.

The accusation is part of a larger case against the president’s son, who is charged with evading $1.4m (£1.1m) in taxes between 2016 and 2019 while spending millions on luxury cars, drugs and escorts.

Republicans have long accused Hunter Biden, 54, of “influence peddling”, although Congressional probes have yet to uncover any wrongdoing.

Former Secret Service Chief Wanted To Destroy Cocaine Evidence

Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and others in top agency leadership positions wanted to destroy the cocaine discovered in the White House last summer, but the Secret Service Forensics Services Division and the Uniformed Division stood firm and rejected the push to dispose of the evidence, according to three sources in the Secret Service community.

Multiple heated confrontations and disagreements over how best to handle the cocaine ensued after a Secret Services Uniformed Division officer found the bag on July 2, 2023, a quiet Sunday while President Biden and his family were at Camp David in Maryland, the sources said.

The Self-Aggrandizement of Jill Biden

On the tenure of Dr. President

President Joe Biden’s announcement on July 21 that he would not run for reelection after all upended an already volatile campaign. As media pivoted to cover the likely nomination of Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, as the Democratic Party’s candidate, attention shifted away from Biden himself, forestalling efforts to unravel what has been going on in the White House as he has physically and cognitively declined. But it shouldn’t. The American people deserve to know what has been happening behind the scenes of this obfuscatory administration — and the role played by one person in particular: First Lady Jill Biden.

A Not-So-Fond Farewell to Joe Biden

I’m pleased that Joe Biden has left the 2024 presidential race. I’ll be even more delighted when his term ends. Even though the old boy has limited his interviews and public appearances more than any other president in the modern era, I long ago had more than my fill of him.

After more than 50 years in government, Mr. Biden has become the emblematic politician, which is no compliment. He came into office promising to heal the rifts dividing the country, and instead widened them by his own leftward political turn. He continues to call himself Catholic yet is blithely pro-choice on abortion. Everything about him—his ideas, his language, his very smile—seems fake.

He and his entire family are sleazebags.

Hunter Biden and the traitors in our midst

A FEDERAL jury has convicted Hunter Biden on three felony gun charges. It concluded that he violated laws meant to prevent drug addicts from owning firearms.

Referring to his wayward son’s fight against his addictions, the President said: ‘We are so proud of the man he is today.’

Considering the multiple charges against 54-year-old Hunter that were not pursued by prosecutors, his father’s pride seems rather inappropriate. One wonders if he is also proud of the following . . .

Sleazy Biden Clan Denies Dope Fiend Son’s Daughter Opportunity To Meet Dementia Joe

Let me meet my grandpa: Joe Biden’s secret grandchild makes heartfelt plea

Five-year-old Navy Joan Roberts grins as she charges out of her bedroom while proudly cradling a postcard of Joe Biden.

When she visited Washington DC last week, her mother told her she could choose anything she wanted from the White House gift shop.

But rather than picking out a board game, puzzle or soft toy of the president’s dog, Navy chose a headshot of the smiling US president to keep in a birdhouse in her bedroom.

What Rhymes with FBI?

Mark Twain has been credited with the quip that “history doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.” When it comes to corruption and the FBI, he may have been right.

In the late teens to early twenties, evidence began to trickle out in the media suggesting that an individual within the Executive Branch of the United States Government had profited significantly from his official position. Over the course of several years, it became clear that money had flowed from an energy company looking to secure favorable business deals to a self-dealing Executive Branch official. Millions changed hands and the Bureau was called in to investigate.
