OTTAWA — While the numbers of Canadian citizens held in federal prisons continue a downward trend, populations of non-Canadians behind bars continues to rise.
But information on where these inmates are from is largely missing from the data provided by Public Safety Canada – with the national origin of nearly 35% of Canada’s non-citizen prison population listed as “unknown.”
Performance art says so much by saying absolutely nothing at all.

Godzilla would be mightily impressed.
George Soros’s trail of devastation reminds me of Godzilla. In the opening scenes of the 1998 hit monster movie, scientist Nick Tatopoulos is overcome with fear when gazing on giant reptile’s footprints in a Central American country left by the mutant lizard on his way to tear up New York City. I get a similar feeling examining Soros’s monstrous footprint in Bolivia, where voters have just cast off a socialist narco regime he helped Cuba to install before moving on to the U.S.

Has Marsha Blackburn, the United States senator from Tennessee, been accused of rape?
The answer is an unequivocal “no.”
But when I recently posed that question to Gemma, Google’s large language model, it provided a much different response.

Sure, Fitch Ratings, a major international credit agency, has issued a warning about Canada’s out-of-control debt and spending, but let’s talk about the Conservative Party.
Official Ottawa is in an out-of-control frenzy, not due to the out-of-control spending of the Carney Liberal government but over the comings and goings of Conservative MPs.

In 1992, global carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions stood at 22.3 billion metric tons. By 2024, they had reached a record high of 37.4 billion tons— an increase of nearly 68%.
Europe, by comparison, emitted 4 billion tons in 1992. By 2023, this figure had fallen to around 2.5 billion tons, a reduction of approximately 40% — on a global scale, a derisory amount.

Sometimes I read the news and wonder if we’ve all lost our footing. A few weeks ago, the Vancouver Park Board apologized to the 2SLGBTQ+ community for allowing a Harry Potter event in Stanley Park. The apology caught the attention of J.K. Rowling herself, who joked she hadn’t realized Vancouver had “avowed” her, so the disavowal wasn’t much of a blow.

Zohran Mamdani surged to an easy victory as the “democratic socialist” mayor of New York City, complete with media enthusiasm that carried echoes of silly Obama love songs. The badly named “mainstream media” earnestly promoted the most extreme candidate.

Whether people agree or disagree with Ottawa’s new immigration targets, the plan will help Canada regain control of the system, says the man who launched the mission to bring it back on track.
“It denotes stability, whether you like or not the important reforms that I put through in the last two years,” said Liberal MP and former immigration minister Marc Miller. Miller was tapped in 2023 by then prime minister Justin Trudeau to rein in rapid immigration growth amid a public outcry.

It’s so cute to see them puff up their scrawny chests and crow that they are now ascendant, and Orange Man Bad and all us “Maggers” (as then-President Biden used to sneeringly call us, and no, I haven’t forgotten how creepy that felt; I totally understood how Democrats are the party of the Klan at that moment) are minced meat now.

OTTAWA — Most Canadians say Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government has fallen short on its campaign promises, even as his overall satisfaction and approval ratings edge upward, a new Postmedia-Leger poll finds.
“There’s a lot of things to like about Mr. Carney’s experience and credentials that people gravitated to during the election and hold true now,” said Leger executive vice-president Andrew Enns, in an interview.

According to the far-left fascists at GLAAD, of the 489 LGBTUVWXYZ characters currently on TV, 41 percent will disappear due to their shows being cancelled.
Naturally, GLAAD presents this as a bad thing.

Just call it Slaughterhouse 330.
Only unlike Kurt Vonnegut’s classic 1969 novel Slaughterhouse-Five, this slaughter house at Universal Ostrich Farms was not an abandoned one used as a prisoner camp by the Nazis in the Second World War but a culling pen built with hay walls and platforms in 2025 on the very farm where some of these ostriches as old as 35 lived for years.

Fighters laugh as they ride on the back of a pick-up truck, speeding past a row of nine dead bodies and driving towards the setting Sudanese sun.
“Look at all this work. Look at this genocide,” one cheers.
He smiles as he turns the camera on himself and his fellow fighters, their Rapid Support Forces (RSF) badges on display: “They will all die like this.”
The men are celebrating a massacre that humanitarian officials fear killed more than 2,000 people in the Sudanese city of el-Fasher last month. On Monday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) said it was investigating whether the paramilitary may have committed “war crimes and crimes against humanity”.
