The CIA blocked federal investigators from interviewing Hunter Biden’s “sugar brother” Kevin Morris during a five-year probe into the first son’s alleged tax crimes, a whistleblower has told House impeachment leaders.

House Oversight and Judiciary Committee chairmen say the whistleblower informed them the intelligence agency stopped IRS and Justice Department investigators from interviewing Morris in August 2021, a Hollywood lawyer and patron of the first son, according to a Thursday letter addressed to CIA Director William Burns.

Supreme Court won’t hear appeal of private school that wouldn’t let Muslim students pray

The country’s top court has declined to hear the appeal of a private Calgary school that was found to have discriminated against two Muslim students who were denied prayer space on campus.

The Supreme Court of Canada’s ruling Thursday ends a 12-year legal battle to overturn an Alberta Human Rights Commission (HRC) decision that resulted in a $26,000 fine against Webber Academy.

As is the SCC’s practice, no reasons were given for the court’s refusal to hear the appeal.

American Airlines passenger yelled about ‘blue-eyed white devils’ and threatened to ‘take this plane down’: affidavit

The hate-spewing American Airlines passenger seen in a viral video being put in a headlock and marched off a flight also drunkenly ranted about “blue-eyed white devils” — and threatened to “take this plane down with all you mother f–kers on it,” according to court documents.

The passenger, identified as 29-year-old Florida man Shail Patel, had already been accused of hurling an antisemitic slur at a flight attendant during the wild scuffle on American Airlines Flight 2506 from his hometown of Tampa to Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Ontario bought a pair of ferries for $94M. More than 2 years later they’re still not in service

A pair of electric ferries, purchased by the province for roughly $94 million, have yet to begin full service more than two years after arriving in the waters around Kingston, Ont.

In fact, the Amherst Islander II (AI2) has yet to transport its first passenger.

The Wolfe Islander IV (WI4), meanwhile, has welcomed aboard just 2,614 passengers to date, according to figures obtained by CBC through a freedom of information request.

Mass shooting and explosion reported at concert hall near Moscow

A renowned Moscow region concert venue and shopping centre is on fire on Friday evening, following reports of a mass shooting incident.

At least three gunmen, wearing combat fatigues, burst into Crocus City Hall and fired automatic weapons, injuring dozens of patrons and killing a significant number of them, according to Russian media.

Trudeau government sets meaningless temporary resident targets for the first time this fall

OTTAWA – For the first time, Canada will set targets for the number of new temporary resident arrivals to the country, Immigration Minister Marc Miller announced Thursday.

The federal government plans to decrease the number of temporary residents to five per cent of the population over the next three years, down from the current 6.2 per cent.

The first targets will be set in September.

Trudeau is intent on destroying Canada.
