Riley Gaines slammed Pride Night in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) as ‘brainwashing’ and compared it to ‘Nazi propaganda in Germany.’

The furious former NCAA swimmer shared a post from an audience member who attended a PWHL game between Ottawa and Boston on Wednesday night at TD Place in Canada.

In the post, Michelle Alleva recounted her experience, stating, ‘Before the game, the audience was asked to read the following pledge out loud together.’

What Trudeau’s podcast appearances say about the Liberals’ next ballot box question

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau knows Canadians aren’t listening.

He knows his defence against Conservative attacks over his signature climate policy isn’t working, at least not yet.

But he plans to keep trying. And while he’s at it, his office is trying something new to get the Liberal government’s message out.

Trudeau recently appeared on four podcasts as he travels the country talking up the Liberals’ latest budget, which he’s pitching as a plan to inject more economic fairness into society for those under 40 – a cohort that has kept Trudeau in power since 2015 but is increasingly turning to Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.

Trudeau latest run is starting to resemble Wynne’s end in Ontario. The people have tuned him out and even the bought press are less than enthusiastic.

His advisers are so bankrupt they attempted to use some graffiti and an Alex Jones soundbite against Poilievre forgetting that Trudeau was thanked by Hamas and kisses Islamist ass.

Chants of ‘shame on you’ greet guests at White House correspondents’ dinner shadowed by war in Gaza

The war in Gaza spurred large protests outside a glitzy roast with President Joe Biden, journalists, politicians and celebrities Saturday but went all but unmentioned by participants inside, with Biden instead using the annual White House correspondents’ dinner to make both jokes and grim warnings about Republican rival Donald Trump’s fight to reclaim the U.S. presidency.

An evening normally devoted to presidents, journalists and comedians taking outrageous pokes at political scandals and each other often seemed this year to illustrate the difficulty of putting aside the coming presidential election and the troubles in the Middle East and elsewhere.

The elites and their lefty reporters along with the usual Hollywood suspects have a dinner celebrating a senile president they foisted on America. Got it.

Students set up ‘indefinite’ pro-Palestinian encampment at McGill University

Several tents have gone up on McGill’s downtown campus in what students are calling an act of solidarity with the Palestinian cause, joining a wave of similar protests taking place across U.S. campuses amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

On Saturday afternoon, organizers could be heard asking over loudspeakers that as many people as possible stay at the encampment overnight.

Protestors are demanding McGill and Concordia universities “divest from funds implicated in the Zionist state as well as [cut] ties with Zionist academic institutions,” according to a statement sent to CBC News by Zaynab Ali, a McGill student participating in the protest.

First ten armoured vehicles promised to Ukraine to be delivered by summer, Blair says

Defence Minister Bill Blair says the first ten of 50 Armoured Combat Support Vehicles (ACSVs) promised to Ukraine last year will be delivered to the war-torn country by this summer, but likely won’t be fully in service until the fall.

… The remarks from the defence minister come a week after a leading Ukrainian politician met with Blair and a number of Canadian lawmakers and pleaded for more armoured vehicles.

Oleksandra Ustinova, the head of Ukraine’s special parliamentary commission on arms and munitions, told the minister, members of key House of Commons committees and military leaders that both time and weapons stocks are running out for her country.

College Activists Postpone Anti-Israel Encampment Because Students Are Too White

Students at the University of Washington postponed an anti-Israel demonstration planned for Thursday because too many of the students who signed up are white.

According to MyNorthwest, a Washington-based radio station, the University of Washington’s Progressive Student Union (UWPSU) opted to delay an encampment in solidarity with Palestinian terrorists “to make sure this encampment is a better reflection of the UW community, and having even greater unity with Muslim, Palestinian and Arab students.”

Talking to Americans got a lot of laughs when comedian Rick Mercer was doing his TV shows two decades ago. For Justin Trudeau right now, talking to Americans is part of a serious communication strategy, aimed at putting the Canadian prime minister in front of wider audiences.

Trudeau has been doing a flurry of podcasts in recent days, two of them based in the United States: one for the Freakonomics series, another for the Vox news program, Today, Explained. One of my colleagues joked this week that this is the Liberal reply to Pierre Poilievre’s fondness for slogans: when the Conservative leader goes short and snappy, Trudeau goes long form.

Talking to Americans to win Canadian hearts and minds says even your bought media is tired of the charade.
