‘Out of control’: Witnesses describe fatal Lisbon funicular crash

It was just after 18:00 on Wednesday when a carriage on Lisbon’s famous Gloria funicular careened around the bend of a steep cobblestoned street, crashed into a building, and crumpled, eyewitnesses said.

The carriage “lost control”, descending at full speed and crashing on its side, Helen Chow, who was at the base of the hill, told the BBC.

It sounded like a bomb, she said, followed by “complete scary silence… There was pitch black smoke. Once it dissipated, you saw exactly what happened.”

The police search took place nine years before Anandasangaree became a Liberal Member of Parliament, during a counter-terrorism investigation into a suspected money-collection scheme by Sri Lanka’s Tamil Tigers.

Hot mic catches Putin and Xi discussing organ transplants at parade

A “hot mic” following the Chinese, Russian and North Korean leaders in Beijing recorded President Putin discussing one of his favourite topics: the possibility of organ transplants delaying ageing and death.

As Putin, President Xi and Kim Jong-un approached the rostrum overlooking Tiananmen Square for the military parade, Putin’s translator could be heard raising the latest medical advances.

“Biotechnology is continuously developing,” he said. There was then a further bit of conversation that was inaudible, before the translator concluded: “Human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become, and [you can] even achieve immortality.”

Posting under his handle AntiWoke55555, Teej’s nearly five-minute video says that trans-ideology is being pushed on kids who don’t need it, exacerbating their mental health issues. He says this is creating a dangerous situation with mentally unhealthy trans and other gender confused people committing major acts of violence, such as the mass shooting in Minneapolis last week.

The surveillance clip was among the more than 33,000 pages of documents and videos tied to Epstein’s sex-trafficking probe that were released by the House Oversight Committee late Tuesday.
