Arthur Engoron, the New York Supreme Court judge in the real estate case brought against Donald Trump by the state attorney general, has fined Trump and members of his family $464 million. This raises the question of whether the fine – which does not reflect damages actually done – is “excessive” under the Eighth Amendment of the US Constitution, which reads as follows: “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

There are brand new concerns about the Biden administration’s interference in the 2024 presidential election. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office admitted during a hearing last month that they communicated with the Biden White House as it built its case to prosecute Donald Trump. Now, sources have since come forward to reveal that the Biden administration allegedly placed a Democrat operative into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s office with the specific goal of targeting former President Donald Trump.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has maintained that her romantic relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade began after she appointed him as the special prosecutor in the case against Trump in November 2021. But, earlier this month, Robin Yeartie, a former “good friend” and employee of Willis, testified under oath that their relationship began in 2019. Both Willis and Wade testified to the contrary, but last week, new court filings by Donald Trump’s attorneys revealed cellphone data contradicted their testimony The data showed that Wade made at least 35 visits to Willis’s neighborhood before she hired him, with several of those visits appearing to be overnight stays.

Trump’s enemies are moving to destroy his business, drain his resources, blacken his reputation, sink his campaign, and, if they can, lock him up.

The judgment in the civil fraud case, which reaches $450 million including prejudgment interest, is the handiwork of an elected Democratic judge in a case brought by an elected Democratic prosecutor who pledged in her election campaign to pursue Trump.

New evidence offered by President Trump, in the form of a vast data dump subpoenaed from AT&T, puts into sharp relief the question of whether District Attorney Fani Willis and her former boyfriend and special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, lied repeatedly — under oath — about when their relationship began.

The 45th president’s attorneys have accessed reams of Mr. Wade’s cellphone data, and a criminal defense investigator, Charles Mittelstadt, tallies “2000 voice calls and just under 12,000 text messages exchanged” between Mr. Wade and Ms. Willis over an 11-month period in 2021. The two deny that they were romantically involved during that time period.

Friedersdorf says it is not about his past record or policies. No, according to him, the reason that Trump must be defeated in 2024 is because he drives people crazy with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Media Not Ready to Accept Fani Willis Did Anything Wrong

Let she who has not hired her boyfriend to prosecute a former president on the taxpayer dime cast the first stone. Or at least that’s the message the mainstream media seem to be conveying with recent coverage of Fani Willis, which paints the district attorney’s alleged behavior as something any one of us could have done and dismisses criticism by suggesting she’s being held to a higher standard because she is black.

“Donald Trump may have authored the Art of the Deal,” said the New York attorney general Letitia James, doing her best resolute voice. “But he perfected the art of the steal.”

There speaks American justice: biased, politicized, odiously trite. “Today, we proved that no one is above the law,” said James, which is what every Trump prosecutor has said, over and over, for years now. “No matter how rich, powerful or politically connected you are, everyone must play by the same rules.”
