Is Canada an Antisemitic Nation?

In my upcoming book, The Curse of the Bystander, advice is offered on how to avoid being haunted by the consequences of one’s actions or inactions when something terrible happens.

Something terrible is happening to the least amongst us, our Jewish citizens, who are being persecuted because of historical and current events. This, along with conspiracy theories that have plagued Jews worldwide for centuries, is inciting hate, violence, and discrimination that we, as non-Jews, cannot even begin to understand.

The author’s mixed messages sure ain’t helping …

“Antisemitism in the public sector, universities, teachers unions, and faculty associations is rampant, and in policing, antisemitic white supremacists have infiltrated the forces.

Perhaps the most significant reasons there are few non-Jews as allies is how DEI bureaucracies have hijacked the cultures in our educational institutions and workplaces. These organizations often refuse to recognize Jews as a minority, viewing them instead as part of the white colonizers and oppressors. Additionally, they and HR deny Jews the opportunity to express and resolve grievances related to discrimination, bullying, harassment, intimidation, and microaggressions. Cancel culture related to DEI has fueled hate, fear, polarization, resentment, and intolerance. It has also silenced bystanders who witness transgressions against Jews.”

He started out well but soon revealed it’s OK to hate White people as colonizers & oppressors so long as Jews are granted victim status within the racist DEI grift. Thanks for that and for the bit about white supremacist cops, I needed a diversity laugh.

Earlier he explained that Canadian Jews should not be held responsible for the actions of Israel. OK by me. But when it comes to White people it’s perfectly fine to beat them to death with the collective guilt stick since we’re the world’s only forever oppressors.

Again this is the elite attempting to fob off their crimes on the backs of ordinary Canadians.  They imported the Islamists, ruined our universities and schools, infested our politics, implemented the DEI witch hunts and turned Canada into a progressive shithole. The elites with their Mohammedan allies are the source of latter day antisemitism in Canada. It rode in on the backs of White Canadians persecuted for the colour of their skin.

A great many of those calling ordinary Canadians “bystanders” were perfectly fine with DEI witch hunts so long as white people were the target, especially the lower classes. They supported mass immigration, multiculturalism and diversity at our expense and delighted in smearing us as racists & Islamophobes. This article will not win them any friends.

The author should have watched this.

How TDSB embraced ‘anti-Palestinian racism’ policies — and sparked debate about antisemitism

TDSB – Rotten to the core

The Toronto District School Board controversially embraced “anti-Palestinian racism” policies in 2024, a move that Jewish activists say puts the country’s largest school board on a collision course with its own antisemitism policy — and offers a case study of a broader, divisive discussion unfolding across Canada.

The TDSB has long been a shithole.

Blame Hamas and Hezbollah for Civilian Deaths, Not Israel

If Western politicians and aid agencies want to apportion blame for the high death tolls in the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, then they need look no further than the Iranian-backed terror groups cynically risking the lives of innocent civilians to achieve their diabolical agenda.

From the moment Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists launched their deadly attack against Israel on October 7 last year, killing 1,200 people and taking another 250 or so hostage, Hamas terrorists have shown a wilful disregard for the lives and well-being of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Europe’s blindspot over antisemitism

The politicians say ‘It must never happen again’, and then it happens again the following week

You would think that we Europeans might have learned a thing or two about antisemitism over the past century or so — and perhaps come to understand pragmatically, if nothing else, that what begins with the vicious persecution of Jews usually moves on to murdering lots of other people, too. But no. Or if we did, then it has conveniently slipped our minds, as things tend to do in these complicated times. Or perhaps we think that the persecution of the Jews we are seeing right now in Europe is of a different marque to that which began in the early 1930s in Germany. Yes, it’s sort of antisemitism — but it’s of a nicer kind than that instigated by that psychotic little Austrian with the performative mustache. A little more excusable.

Behind the Dismantling of Hezbollah: Decades of Israeli Intelligence

Right up until he was assassinated, Hassan Nasrallah did not believe that Israel would kill him.

As he hunkered inside a Hezbollah fortress 40 feet underground on Sept. 27, his aides urged him to go to a safer location. Mr. Nasrallah brushed it off, according to intelligence collected by

Israel and shared later with Western allies. In his view, Israel had no interest in a full-scale war.
What he did not realize was that Israeli spy agencies were tracking his every movement — and had been doing so for years.

Dems Are So Antisemitic Even Elected Jewish Dems are Switching

Rep. Hillary Cassel, a Florida legislator, announced that she was switching parties.

“As a proud Jewish woman, I have been increasingly troubled by the Democratic Party’s failure to unequivocally support Israel and its willingness to tolerate extreme progressive voices that justify or condone acts of terrorism,” she posted on Twitter. “I’m constantly troubled by the inability of the current Democratic Party to relate to everyday Floridians.”

The new sectarians

During the course of 2024, we saw for the first time how religious tribalism and ethnic communalism is starting to reshape British parliamentary politics.

Labour may have enjoyed a landslide victory at the General Election, albeit on a very low turnout. But there were also plenty of reasons for it to be concerned – not least by the rising sectarianism within traditional, Labour-voting constituencies.

‘Pulling people apart’: Renewed tension between Canadian Jewish groups, United Church sparked by Gaza

The war in Gaza has become a new flashpoint between Canada’s largest protestant church and Jewish groups, who say that the famously activist church is dividing Canadians with its “unhealthy obsession with Israel and Jews.”

In recent months, the church has made a number of statements vociferously opposing Israel’s prosecution of the war in Gaza, launched in retaliation for the October 7 Hamas attacks.

I never think about the United Church. Ever.

We’re being frozen out of British cultural life, say Jewish artists

There must be an as yet undetermined link.

Britain’s cultural world has turned its back on Jewish creatives according to a series of allegations gathered by The Times.

Artists, writers and performers have stated that they are being frozen out of British cultural life because they refuse to describe Israeli actions in Gaza as genocidal.

While many have chosen to remain anonymous because of the “chilling” cultural climate in the country, others have decided to speak out.

Houthis vow to continue attacking Israel despite strikes on Yemen

A Houthi political official says the group will continue attacking Israel in solidarity with the Palestinians despite the escalating Israeli air strikes in Yemen.

Mohammed al-Bukhaiti told the BBC that the Houthis would “escalate our military targeting of Israel” until it stopped what he described as “the genocide in Gaza”.

On Thursday, Israeli warplanes struck the international airport in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and ports and power stations on the Red Sea coast, killing at least four people.

You lost me at Multiculturalism and Diversity ….

Aviva Klompas: Jew hatred is not just a Jewish problem. It’s a Canadian problem

…This global surge in Jew-hatred is inexcusable everywhere, but its prevalence in Canada is particularly shameful. Canada was the first nation to adopt multiculturalism as an official policy in 1971, later enshrining it in law through the Canadian Multiculturalism Act of 1988. Canadians pride themselves on being champions of diversity and tolerance, yet today, what they are tolerating is violence and bigotry.

Most damningly, they have failed to recognize that Jew-hatred is not just a Jewish problem — it is a Canadian problem.

Canadians have a lot of problems. Many caused by Multiculturalism, Diversity & Tolerance.

The Liberal government declared war on its own people by actively demonizing Canadians who objected to mass immigration and the one way street of “Tolerance.”

Canadian values and heritage have been denigrated and White Canadians openly discriminated against in hiring.

The situation is so perverse, so evil that school children are labeled oppressors and racists because they have “White skin” under the NAZI like DEI programs our governments condone.

Imported Fifth Columns comprised of incompatible cultures have brought us increased violence and crime, a lowered standard of living, homelessness, unemployment, an affordability crisis, foreign conflicts fought out in our streets along with baked in antisemitism and Christianophobia. That’s how multiculturalism, diversity and tolerance have benefited Canadians.

We are treated as unwanted guests in our own home. For better than 20 years we were cowed by the threat of cancelation to the point we would not defend ourselves.

No one came to our aid, no one said “Hey maybe we shouldn’t label White people racist just for having white skin” or “You know what legalized discrimination against Whites in hiring is wrong.”

And why would our replacements help us when the scam was working so well to their benefit?

People in general are fed up at those governments that have allowed the protests to continue since that fateful Oct 7 but I do not have the sense that the Israeli-Muslim conflict is a topic of water cooler conversation any longer.

Most of the antisemitism in Canada emanates from our elites in academia and government bolstered by the Islamists they imported and not from average Canadians. The success our elites enjoyed demonizing White people was easily transferred to Jews when it came time to strike a blow for Gaza which no doubt came as a shock to their fellow travelers in the diaspora.

We can vote and yes Trudeau and his party should burn in hell but I see no savior on our horizon.

Canada has been poisoned & the culture changed for the worse. Justin’s replacements have no shared history with Canada, no appreciation of Western culture and no motivation to assimilate. I doubt Jews and the holocaust are even on their radar.

We are on the outside looking in. I doubt Canadians are much inclined to rally in the streets when no one could be bothered to rally for them.

An appeal to our alleged national belief in the magic powers of Multiculturalism, Diversity & Tolerance is nothing more than condescending out of touch virtue signaling.

How Israeli Arab Leaders Betray Their Own People

The Iran-backed Palestinian Hamas terrorist group has long been seeking to spark a civil war between Israel’s Arab and Jewish citizens. Over the past few years, Hamas has called on the two million Arab citizens of Israel to revolt against their own country and join the Jihad against Israel.

Hamas’s attempts were partially successful in May 2021, when some Arabs attacked their Jewish neighbors. The assaults occurred at the same time as an Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip. That operation was launched in response to rockets fired by Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups at Israel. Fortunately, the violence that erupted in 2021 ended quickly.

The cult of the keffiyeh

Whatever happened to the sin of cultural appropriation? This ideology of rebuke held sway on university campuses for years. The idea was that no member of the majority group should ever appropriate the cultural habits of a minority group. It’s offensive, apparently. It’s racial theft. It’s parody disguised as authenticity. White men wearing their hair in dreadlocks, white women in kimonos, gay men twerking or using black slang – all of it was damned as ‘stealing’, the co-option of the culture of the powerless by the powerful. And yet today, visit any campus in the West and everywhere you look you’ll see white youths dressed as Arabs.
