THOSE plotting the West’s collapse hold a trump card: the Great Replacement. To give the Devil his due, they play it well. Porous borders, hate-speech laws and the cynical manipulation of Anglosphere kindness create a hostile environment for the diversity heretic.

In this climate, it pays to reabsorb the arguments which make the dissident’s case unanswerable, hence driven from the public square. Enter a new book, Never Say D.I.E.: Three Dialogues on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, by George Carroway, published by Imperium Press.

On Feb. 16, President Joe Biden signed Executive Order 14091, titled “Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.”

Biden’s sweeping order multiplies and muscles up government diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) diversity-crats — the diversity-industrial complex — and makes their power bases virtually permanent.

The order also bestows special status and benefits on favored groups, called “underserved communities,” while excluding everyone else. Why now?

The lack of diversity policies at Historically Black Colleges and Universities makes clear that the concept means something other than its public definition.

It’s a curious feature of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) that they rarely have any diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) administrators or policies on their campuses, beyond what federal law requires.

Howard University, for instance, the alma mater of Vice President Kamala Harris, has no central administrator dedicated to DEI, and its student affairs programming aims to help the disabled and LGBTQ students. Neither Jackson State nor Grambling State, two famous HBCUs, have DEI plans or central administrators. North Carolina’s four public HBCUs also have very little DEI presence on campus. Much the same is true of Texas’s HBCUs, none of which has DEI deans at the college level and almost none of which has DEI in its college strategic plans. Tennessee State has less DEI than any four-year university in the Volunteer State. One could go on.

The University of Florida has created a radical diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) bureaucracy that promotes racial and political preferences in faculty hiring, encourages white employees to engage with a twelve-step program called Racists Anonymous, and maintains racially segregated scholarship programs that violate federal civil rights law.

Several years back I asked what it would take to halt the diversity, inclusion, equity obsession in America.

What would it take to get back to excellence and competence as the only criteria for employment?

Perhaps it would require the bridges to start falling down.

Though I suspect that if they did then certain people would claim they’d only fallen because of “structural racism.”

A black director of a “woke” California college’s Office of Equity, Social Justice and Multicultural Education claims she was fired for questioning the institution’s anti-racism “orthodoxy” and what the term “anti-racism” even means.

Dr. Tabia Lee said De Anza College, a community college in Cupertino, retaliated after she objected to several campus policies aimed at inclusion.

At Florida International University, DEI bureaucrats have made political activism the center of academic life.

Florida International University, a public institution, has adopted a radical “diversity, equity, and inclusion” program that condemns the United States as a system of “white supremacy,” segregates scholarships and student programs by race, and trains students for participation in left-wing protests and political activism.

Left-wing DEI bureaucracy has captured Florida State University and installed radical politics as the governing value.

Florida State University has adopted a series of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” programs that divides Americans along a “matrix of oppression,” castigates Christians for their “Christian privilege,” and offers a racially segregated scholarship that deliberately bars white students from applying.

Officially, Florida State officials have claimed in a recent report to Governor Ron DeSantis that they support 23 separate DEI programs and initiatives. But beneath the surface, the ideology has embedded itself everywhere in the university.
