French authorities face mounting embarrassment and public fury after it emerged that US child protection organisations repeatedly warned them about the main suspect in the brutal murder of 11-year-old Lyhanna, whose body was found on June 4 in a disused grain silo near Fleurance in south-west France.
The suspect, 41-year-old Jérôme Barella, a father of one of Lyhanna’s classmates, had been the subject of several prior complaints for sexual violence against minors.
Karmelo Anthony’s father, Andrew, told a blatant lie during his interview with CBS News. Anthony was convicted of murder this week and sentenced to 35 years in prison for fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf in Frisco, Texas, in 2025. The case drew national attention. A source with knowledge of this investigation said this network is also responsible for shooting at buildings that belong to Canadian waste giant GFL Environmental, as well as private residences and tow-truck companies.
This means they won’t have to embarrass their Islamist pals by calling it terrorism.

OTTAWA – The vast majority of crime guns traced by the RCMP to identifiable sources in 2023 and 2024 came from within Canada and were not smuggled from abroad, say internal reports prepared by the national police force.

A Toronto police officer has been charged with sexual assault, child luring, and other offences involving a girl under the age of 16 following an investigation by Ontario’s police watchdog.
