The shameful persecution of Posie Parker in New Zealand

This is what it must have been like when women were marched to the stake. Yesterday in Auckland the British women’s rights campaigner Posie Parker found herself surrounded by a deranged, heaving mob. She had tomato soup and placards thrown in her face. She was doused with water. Huge men screamed insults and expletives in her face. The shoving of the crowd became so intense that Parker feared for her life. ‘I genuinely thought that if I fell to the floor I would never get up again’, she said. ‘My children would lose their mother and my husband would lose his wife.’

A “man” assaults a woman.

Navratilova: Trans ban means the ‘world is finally waking up’

The news that World Athletics has excluded transgender women from competing in the female category at international events is certainly a step in the right direction.

I have long been vocal on this matter, as I have educated myself on what the realities are for trans women competing against biological females.

The Women’s Sport Policy Working Group, of which I am a member, has looked at how best to include trans women and girls in sport without creating a disadvantage to females by forcing them to compete against trans athletes who have advantages associated with being born male.

Transgender athlete research rejected after professor called trans women ‘males’

Transgender athlete research has been shut down after a professor called trans women “males”.

Dr John Armstrong, a scholar at King’s College London (KCL), applied to carry out a survey of elite athletes and volunteers on whether trans women, who are born male, should compete in women’s track and field categories and whether they felt they could express their views.

However, the university’s ethics panel rejected his application last week citing equality and diversity concerns, in what has been labelled an attack on academic freedom.

The week the tide turned in the gender war

There has been a watershed moment in the trans debate, sparked by the landmark decision about female athletes

Sport, so focused on winning and losing, on rules and competition, can bring a reductive clarity to the complexities of life. Perhaps that is why the judgement this week of the World Athletics Council was so momentous. Put simply, council president Sebastian Coe had to choose between conflicting “rights” and he decided that the right of those born women to compete fairly trumps the desire to be included in elite sport of those who have gone through male puberty but run or jump as women. “We felt,” he said, “that having transgender athletes competing at elite level would actually compromise the integrity of female competition.”

‘I lose no matter how hard I train:’ Heartbreaking words of female cyclist who quit sport after constant beatings by trans competitors

A champion female cyclist has quit the sport after constant beatings by transgender athletes, admitting in a heartbreaking message: ‘I lose no matter how hard I train.’

Hannah Arensmen, a 35-time winner on the national cyclocross circuit, revealed her ordeal in an amicus brief to the Supreme Court in support of legislation in West Virginia which seeks to ban transgender student athletes from competing outside their biological gender.

An injunction by a lower court is currently barring the law from being enforced over claims that it violates Title IX federal sex discrimination protections in education.

Barbie Kardashian: the grisly reality of self-ID

In Ireland, even the most violent and unhinged sex offenders are being housed in women’s prisons.

Last night, Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was asked about the decision to place an extremely dangerous young man, Barbie Kardashian, in a women’s prison. Averting his eyes for a moment, Varadkar claimed that until reading the Sunday papers, he had been unaware of the case, adding that he ‘may have to consider changing the law’. One might have hoped that Ireland’s premier would have been more on top of his brief given the gravity of the situation.
