The U.S. Naval War College hosted a lecture last week featuring a trans-identifying Space Force colonel to discuss LGBT “experiences.”

Titled, “Learning from the developmental journeys of LGBTQ+,” the June 17 event was co-headlined by Col. Bree Fram, a male astronautical engineer with the U.S. Space Force who proclaims to be a woman and uses “she/her” pronouns. According to his website, Fram — who acquired a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 2021 — is “currently stationed at the Pentagon to lead space acquisition policy development for the Department of the Air Force” and leads the branch’s “LGBTQ+ Initiatives Team.”

Anyone who’s been paying attention to queer politics will have noticed that activist language never stands still but constantly marches Leftward.

Words like “homosexuality” and “gay” have either been written out of the lexicon or redefined in ways that would be unrecognisable to gay activists from the last century. The word “queer” itself has been reclaimed from its origins as a slur to a badge of defiance.

Back in April, Joe Biden, following in Barack Obama’s footsteps, unilaterally changed Title IX, which protects women and girls from discrimination in education, by reinterpreting the law to treat “gender identity” the same as biological sex. This move allowed biological males to play women’s sports and gave them access to scholarships intended for women, as well as women’s locker rooms, private spaces, and single-sex housing.

The WPATH files offer a disturbing look into the group’s decision-making process for “gender-affirming” care.

In private, leaders of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) express concerns indistinguishable from those of their most ardent critics. This is the conclusion that one reaches when reading the WPATH files, leaked from the group’s internal forums and communications. In them, members drop the euphemisms and doublespeak that characterize their public-facing comments in exchange for frank discussions about how to navigate the challenges and complications arising from their gender-based medical interventions.

Junior competitive tennis coach Michael Paduch is aware that he’s wading into an emotionally charged debate by questioning a new policy that allows transgender players to compete against other girls, “without restriction.”

“It’s a complex issue; it’s an issue a lot of people care about,” Paduch said. “But I have a keen interest in ensuring that female tennis in Canada is not affected negatively by policies that are put in place.”

New federal regulations that would effectively force employers and employees to use transgender pronouns are illegal, says a lawsuit filed by 18 states against the Democrat-run executive agency.

Filed on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the lawsuit brought by Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti and 17 other attorneys general contends that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC’s) unilateral move to extend the 1964 Civil Rights Act’s Title VII protections to include so-called “gender identity” represents an unlawful attempt to “enshrine sweeping gender-identity mandates without congressional consent.”
