Micah White, PhD, the co-founder of Occupy Wall Street went to Davos last year to party with the super-rich. He’s been pitching cryptocurrency, including Sparkle: a coin he invented.

“Occupy Wall Street generated tremendous money,” White complained. “This whole idea that activists should do it for free and all that b____t is over. Like somehow I’m supposed to be a full-time activist and have zero income from it? It’s ridiculous.”

Robinson, a Yale Law School graduate and erstwhile Harvard Ph.D. candidate. Robinson is a foppish character: he affects an English accent and a dandified mode of dress, and had grown weary of his employees’ recent attempts to organise a cooperative workplace rooted in egalitarian principles of governance.  Following a contentious Zoom meeting on August 7, Robinson began eliminating positions as part of an attempt to regain control of a project he regarded as uniquely his.

In case you didn’t hear, former President Barack Obama had a birthday bash over the weekend. His 60th was celebrated in Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., alongside Hollywood elites, friends, confidants, and politicos. And yes, it is only the latest instance of Democrats operating on a “for thee, but not me” basis when it comes to the coronavirus.
