In the wake of the horrific assassination of conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk on Sept. 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, one might have expected America’s legacy media and left-leaning outlets to rally around basic human decency. After all, this was a brutal act of political violence against a prominent voice for freedom, family values, and American exceptionalism. President Trump himself called it a “national tragedy,” and even some on the left issued tepid condemnations. But oh, how quickly that facade crumbled!

You’ll remember the phrase “Je Suis Charlie” (I Am Charlie), from the 2015 Islamist massacre of the staff of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. People marched through the streets of Paris with signs saying that. It defeated Islamists, who were never heard from again. (If only!)

Charlie Kirk’s heartbroken widow Erika last night waved to supporters as her husband’s casket was transported to a chapel.

Erika Kirk, née Frantzve, was dressed in all black and wearing sunglasses as she arrived in Arizona on Thursday evening after her husband’s body was flown back from Utah on Air Force Two.

The 36-year-old was greeted by a crowd of mourners waving American flags as a motorcade escorted her to the chapel.

It’s iffy.

Tyler Robinson ‘full of hate’ before Charlie Kirk shooting, says family friends — while ‘Hey fascist! Catch!’ found written on bullets

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson was “full of hate” in the days before the shooting, according to a family friend, as authorities revealed the 22-year-old had confessed to the assassination and had been turned in by a relative.

Bullets found in the chamber of the rifle reportedly used by Robinson included apparent left-wing slogans such as “Hey fascist! Catch!” and another referencing “Oh, Bella Ciao!” a popular Italian anti-fascist song.

I hope he’s denied protective custody and traded for a cigarette every night of his sorry life.

UpDate: Charlie Kirk ‘killer’ identified as Tyler Robinson after assassination in Utah

The suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination has been identified as Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah resident.

Law enforcement sources told Daily Mail that Robinson was taken into custody as the alleged assassin who killed Kirk at a rally at Utah Valley University in Utah on Wednesday.

The alleged killer confessed to his father Matt, who is a a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, sources told Daily Mail. His father then contacted authorities and secured his son before he could be taken into custody.

A new video released by the FBI shows the still-at-large person of interest in Charlie Kirk’s assassination leaping off his rooftop sniper’s den and dashing away minutes after shooting the conservative activist dead Wednesday.

The clip from the Utah Valley University campus was shared by the Bureau and the Utah Department of Public Safety during a press conference Thursday night in which officials gave no new updates on any relevant leads or arrests.

Students at the University of Nebraska threw a man into a fountain for holding a sign saying “Charlie deserved it”, referring to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Experts believe the footage shows a carefully planned shooting of the firebrand conservative

In the seconds after a bullet penetrated the neck of 31-year-old Charlie Kirk, a lone figure moves across the rooftops in the distance.

As crowds dispersed in panic, the figure, who some footage from the scene had shown lying down moments before, can be seen staggering across the Losee Center some 130 metres away.

The rooftop position on top of a three-storey building is one of the few vantage points with a clear line of sight at Kirk, the de facto leader of the Maga youth movement and fierce defender of Donald Trump.

Billionaire Elon Musk slammed the Democratic party and leftist users online, castigating them for ‘celebrating cold-blooded murder’ following the death of Charlie Kirk.

The conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA was shot in the throat while speaking to college students at Utah Valley University. The shooter is still at large, and has not been publicly identified by law enforcement.

‘The Left is the party of murder,’ Musk wrote on X soon after news broke of the shooting.
