he Dutch national police has announced it is to stop organising religious celebrations for people outside the force, including iftar meals that break the daily fast in Ramadan, from January 1, 2027.
The decision, confirmed by chief constable Janny Knol on September 21, follows a report in the daily De Telegraaf and amends the force’s code of conduct for officers.
