Actor John Leguizamo has claimed that European colonizers stole 500,000 tons of gold from Latin people despite evidence showing that only 220,000 tons have been mined in human history.
Leguizamo, who will be starring in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic The Odyssey, revealed his thoughts about European colonization during an appearance on the One Nightstand podcast.

Frequently, a holiday can save a movie. After a slow start, a three or four-day weekend can swoop in and rescue a title that faltered out of the gate. We see this a lot around Christmas. More people are off from work, so more people go to the movies. This isn’t rocket science.

Supergirl didn’t just flop at the box office this weekend; it is a flop of epic proportions, an abysmal failure that will be remembered only as a failure.

But a critic buddy called me with an extra screening pass, and I wanted to see him. Now, the reason he had a ticket for me tells you all you need to know about the box-office prospects for Supergirl, and the mentality of Hollywoke, what’s left of it.
With 141 reviews in, the critical consensus is that Supergirl is plain ole’ rotten, with just a 58 percent rating at Rotten Tomatoes.
While that number will fluctuate as more reviews come in, it will only fluctuate by a few points either way.
Early reviews for Supergirl are decidedly mixed in an entertainment universe where early reviews, even for a piece of garbage, are almost always gushing and ecstatic.
And the movie’s box office prospects aren’t looking much better.

Even though Hollywood hates, denigrates, smears, insults, and dismisses half the country as ignorant, backwards racists, this failing industry is so desperate for more corporate welfare that there’s a serious push to give the hateful bigots in Hollywood a federal tax credit.
The past few months have not been good for left-wing entertainment, with self-inflicted injuries tearing down successful and prominent figures and shows in the public consciousness.
One such self-inflicted wound involved Amazon’s hit show The Boys, a cynical take on superheroes that quickly became one of the biggest shows in popular culture. Early on, the show satirized politics, corporations, celebrities, and, yes, social justice movements. It was clever, graphic, and undoubtedly a hit.
America added 172,000 jobs in May under President Trump. Meanwhile, in the Democrat-run, left-wing entertainment industry, thousands of jobs were lost.
The national job gains “were not felt across industries,” reports the far-left Deadline. “Jobs in movies and music fell by 2,700 to 328,000, and employment among broadcasting and content providers fell by 4,000 to 333,200. The figures come from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.”
