Two of the biggest movies this summer are Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning and F1, starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, respectively. The two movies have something interesting in common — both are star vehicles for men in their sixties. Brad Pitt will be 62 later this year, and Tom Cruise just turned 63 last week.

Pitt and Cruise aren’t exceptions, either. The biggest male movie stars are all aging. Clooney is 64 and McConaughey is 55. Ben Affleck, also out with a big action film this year, is 53 next month, and his buddy Matt Damon turns 55 later this year.

Rapper and music producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been a New York City tabloid sensation for my entire adult life. His ‘King of the Players’ reputation was burnished by his public exploits, such as turning up at the 2000 Grammy Awards with then girlfriend J-Lo in a plunging green Versace dress, his involvement in a shooting at a Manhattan nightclub and pictures of his butler walking behind him carrying a parasol to shield him from the St Tropez sun. At no point have I ever thought, ‘He seems like a nice guy’.

A look at the list of guests for the various late-night TV comedy shows finds that 99 percent of them have been liberals and only one was center right.

According to a review of all the guests on the five major late-night shows, there was nearly no inclusion of center right guests. The survey was compiled by the Media Research Center and followed the guests on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show.

NEW YORK (AP) — The jury deliberating at Sean “Diddy” Combs ‘ sex trafficking trial asked Tuesday to review critical testimony from one of the prosecution’s most important witnesses: the hip-hop mogul’s former longtime girlfriend Cassie.

Jurors requested the testimony about 75 minutes into their second day of weighing charges that Combs used his fame, wealth and violence to force two girlfriends into drug-fueled sex marathons with male sex workers known as “freak-offs” or “hotel nights.”

The panel of eight men and four women asked for Cassie’s account of Combs beating, kicking and dragging her at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 — an assault captured on now-infamous security camera footage.

The federal government and Sean Combs’s defense team presented their closing arguments this week after extensive testimony in which the music mogul’s ex-girlfriends said they were pressured to have sex with male escorts in drug-dazed marathon sessions.

Mr. Combs is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution, and has pleaded not guilty, saying the sexual encounters were consensual. Jurors are expected to begin deliberating on Monday, which will mark the eighth week of the trial in Federal District Court in Manhattan.

Then she added “Free Palestine” to a Xweet announcing the release of a Snow White trailer.

A survey of 246 “cinema owners and film professionals affiliated with exhibitors” found that more than half believe the “traditional cinema experience” will be dead as a viable business model within 20 years.

“Among other findings in the poll, nearly 90% of U.S. exhibition executives stated that their revenue has not recovered to pre-COVID levels,” reports the far-left Variety. “An overwhelming majority of them, 81%, also want an exclusive theatrical window on new releases lasting at least six weeks, while 77% believe that day-and-date streaming releases have a negative impact on the theatrical model.”

Prosecutors in New York are set to rest their case in the weeks-long federal sex-trafficking and racketeering trial of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The 55-year-old music mogul is accused of using his power as the leader of a business empire to facilitate the sex trafficking of women and conceal his crimes.

Mr Combs has admitted to domestic violence – but has pleaded not guilty to the prosecution’s charges, some of which rely on laws once aimed at mob bosses to try and bring him down.

The defence has yet to make its case – which Mr Combs’ attorneys have said will only take a couple days.

During this daily hour of Anti-Trump Power, Goldberg questioned U.S. hostility to the Islamic Republic of Iran (even as President Donald J. Trump organized Saturday’s majestic act of gender-affirming care upon the mullahs’ atomic weapons program). Goldberg’s co-host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, an alumna of the Trump 45 White House, reminded her that “the Iranians literally throw gay people off of buildings. They don’t adhere to basic human rights.”

The Disney Grooming Syndicate’s box office problems continued this week, now that Elio has won the distinction of earning the lowest box office opening of any movie in Pixar’s 30-year history.

With a catastrophic $22 million opening, Elio earned less than even Pixar’s very first feature, 1995’s Toy Story, which opened to $29.1 million.
