Faulty FBI Data Obscures Successful Defensive Gun Use

With crime such an important issue, Americans depend on the FBI for accurate data. The crime data for 2021 is a mess, with almost 40% of law enforcement agencies around the country not submitting any data to the FBI. In California, 93% didn’t report crime data. In New York, 87% didn’t. Cities are embarrassed by the soaring crime rates, and even when they have collected the data they aren’t transmitting those numbers to the FBI.

But many more data errors are the direct responsibility of the FBI.

The Real Reason Woman Who Killed Firefighter Went Uncharged

I have to wonder how George Zimmerman felt upon reading about the shooting death of Kansas City firefighter Anthony Santi, 41.

Ten years ago, after getting his head pounded into the concrete for a minute or more, Zimmerman famously shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Although Martin attacked the much smaller Zimmerman without provocation, and eyewitness evidence supported Zimmerman’s claims of self-defense, the media and the woke mobs frightened state prosecutors into charging Zimmerman with second-degree murder and ruining his life.

Canada’s handgun ban will not impact violent crime: expert

As of this past Friday, the federal government has froze the sales, purchase, and transfer of handguns. Making it illegal to a buy a handgun of any kind, unless “exempted.”

The decision was made in Ottawa to help limit access to firearms, and combat gun violence across the country.

But one crime expert doesn’t believe the government addressed the actual issue of gun-related crimes, and in turn, targeted the wrong group.

“We don’t have law abiding licensed citizens going around shooting people, the criminality that’s out there is using illegal guns – and I don’t feel this was the right step,” said Karen Reid-Sidhu, executive director at the Surrey Crime Prevention Society.

Canada Prime Minister Announces National Handgun Freeze…Or So He Thinks

Someone forgot to tell Justin Trudeau that he can’t stop the signal. On Friday, October 21, the feeble Canadian Prime Minister announced that handgun ownership has been frozen. No further purchases, transfers or imports of handguns are allowed. At least under officially recognized government databases.

It’s workin great!

CNN Hires Pro-Gun Rights Gutowski, Liberal Media FREAKS OUT and Smears

On Wednesday, CNN announced they’ve hired Pro-Second Amendment reporter, founder of The Reload, and MRC Bulldog Award winner Stephen Gutowski as an analyst, a move many see as a sign of new CNN boss Chris Licht’s commitment to a more moderate journalist product. But while the hire was celebrated on the right and among those who appreciate Gutowski’s work, there were portions of the liberal media that couldn’t handle the alternative perspective and lashed out, giving voice to nastiness.

People arming up to deal with violence…in San Francisco

The city of San Francisco is one of the most anti-gun cities on the planet. If they had their way, guns would be completely and totally outlawed within the city limits.

Actually, they’d be outlawed everywhere, but they can’t really make that call for everyone else.

Luckily, they can’t go that far. However, between the city itself and the state of California, getting a firearm lawfully isn’t easy.

Rifle used in recent police killings not on Canada’s list of banned firearms

The type of semi-automatic weapon used in the recent fatal shooting of two Ontario police officers was also used in a series of other deadly, high-profile gun attacks in Canada, including the 2018 Fredericton mass shootings and the murders committed by the B.C. manhunt suspects.

But the Russian-designed SKS rifle was not added to the federal government’s 2020 list of prohibited weapons, raising questions as to why it wasn’t included.

The Gun Grabbers will never stop.

Handguns in Canada – The Data

Is there a correlation between the increase in legal handgun ownership and homicide? A Review of the Data

Since 2003, Canada has kept accurate counts of the number of registered firearms, and handguns are all in the restricted and prohibited category.

As well since 2003, the number of restricted and prohibited firearms has doubled from 572,325 to 1,165,114 firearms, while the rate of homicide by handgun has remained relatively constant …

Canada’s freeze on buying, selling handguns is now in effect.

A freeze on importing, buying, selling or otherwise transferring handguns went into effect Oct. 21.

In May, the Liberals announced a plan to freeze the number of handguns in Canada, in order to help quell firearm-related violence.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the tabling of Bill C-21, a firearms-control legislation that would freeze the import, sale and transfer of handguns, on May 30.

Courts Are Foiling Biden’s Trivial Attempt To Regulate ‘Ghost Guns’

President Joe Biden’s push to change the rules regarding “ghost guns” and put serial numbers on gun parts may be hitting a major roadblock. Relying on the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision in June, a West Virginia federal district court judge ruled on Thursday that it is unconstitutional to ban guns without serial numbers. That is hardly the end of the story, however, as federal judges in Texas and North Dakota seem to have no problem with requiring serial numbers.

The West Virginia judge, U.S. District Judge Joseph Goodwin, isn’t some wild-eyed Trump nominee. He was nominated by Democrat President Bill Clinton.
