The Department of Health and Human Services has terminated a contract with a nonprofit that was paid millions each month to operate a Texas overflow facility that sat empty, according to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

In a social media post, DOGE said a former US Customs and Immigration Enforcement employee and Biden transition team member joined Family Endeavors in early 2021, where they helped the organization secure a sole-source HHS contract for overflow housing from licensed care facilities.

The Trump administration is ordering federal agencies to prepare for overhauls and mass layoffs by March to fulfill the president’s plan to restructure the federal government.

The Office of Personnel Management, the White House’s human resources department, and the Office of Management and Budget, sent a memo to agency heads Wednesday instructing them to submit plans for “large-scale reductions in force” and “reorganization” by March 13.

Dead on the payroll?

We all expected the Democrat/corporate media alliance to come up with some bogus reason to hate the Trump administration for slashing government waste, but some of the programs these journalists are mourning are beyond parody.

It’s starting to feel like there’s an ongoing bet in the “mainstream” press to see who can find the dumbest possible waste of taxpayer money to defend in earnest.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Tuesday night that she was dismissing more than 100 employees of the US intelligence community (IC) who participated in “obscene, pornographic, and sexually explicit” chatrooms on a government messaging platform.

Gabbard told Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” that the spooks — who were exposed by conservative activist Christopher Rufo for having discussed their fetishes and sexual fantasies on the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Intelink platform — had committed “an egregious violation of trust.”

Tulsi Gabbard just called out CNN as the propaganda arm of the intelligence community. Wow.

There are several pithy phrases that well describe the ignoble actions of people with guilty consciences: “rats leaving a sinking ship,” and “cockroaches scurrying under the fridge when the kitchen lights come on,” among them. Of course, that kind of flight requires self-awareness and actual consciences, qualities lacking in our Democrat/socialist/communist (D/s/c) self-imagined elite, but I’m sure you take my meaning.

We know the Internet is essentially forever. Not only are those really stupid, unfunny jokes we posted on Facebook at 16 likely to haunt us in adulthood, so too are those nude photos we once thought the height of artistic merit or were merely posted to annoy people.

When angry voters confronted Rep. Rich McCormick over DOGE at a town hall held in the Georgia Republican’s deep-red district, the New York Times, Washington Post, and CBS News cited the scene as proof of emerging bipartisan “backlash” over Elon Musk’s efforts to slash government spending. CBS included a quote from one of the protest’s organizers, Maggie Goldman, describing her only as a McCormick constituent.

The Trump administration has placed most United States Agency for International Development (USAID) employees back on administrative leave from midnight on Sunday and laid off hundreds more.

In addition to some 4,200 staff who are being placed on leave, at least 1,600 employees are being fired.

The move comes weeks after President Donald Trump’s initial attempt to eliminate thousands of USAID employees was held up by a legal challenge.

Pierre Omidyar isn’t a champion of truth, but a deep state asset working to undermine Trump.

President Trump is under attack.

As I write this, a coalition of influential organizations and individuals is mobilizing to sabotage his second term in office. They are using a multi-pronged strategy of media manipulation and bureaucratic resistance to stall, discredit, and obstruct his presidency at every turn.

There’s something about being exposed that causes stupidity; a kneejerk reaction to push back against reality, no matter how obvious. As DOGE and President Donald Trump work to expose and fight government waste, fraud and abuse (how sad is it that they have to FIGHT Democrats to end those things?), more ways in which the federal government has been doing those things is coming to light.

The keepers of America’s secrets are scrambling. They have two weeks to “present a plan” to President Trump “for the full and complete release of all” records related to President Kennedy’s assassination. Expect intelligence agencies to clash with the White House and public skepticism to grow.

“All is riddle,” Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “and the key to a riddle is another riddle.” Americans have puzzled over Kennedy’s assassination ever since his death at Dallas in 1963. After his slaying, the myth of Camelot was created, and it grows to this day.

WAMU-FM, the NPR station airing news all day in D.C., has openly sided with the federal bureaucracy and against the Trump team’s effort to reform government. On Friday morning, their aired a story for four and a half minutes during Morning Edition that was devoted only to frustrated staffers at the U.S. Agency for International Development. The “evil” Trump side wasn’t allowed to speak.
