Canadians ‘Dissatisfied’ With Feds’ Treatment of Freedom Convoy: Internal Federal Poll

The end is nigh.

Many Canadians say they are unhappy with the police response to the Freedom Convoy in February, according to an internal survey conducted for the federal government. Even those who opposed the protest said the freezing of bank accounts would never have been necessary if “more had been done” to engage with protestors.

“Participants were generally dissatisfied with the response of the Government of Canada,” said a Privy Council Office report, titled “Continuous Qualitative Data Collection Of Canadians’ Views.”

Prime minister to testify at Emergencies Act inquiry

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be called to testify at hearings into the government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act to end anti-mandate protests earlier this year.

The Public Order Emergency Commission, led by former Ontario Superior Court justice Paul Rouleau, is scheduled to begin hearings next week, with the mandate to assess the government’s use of the Act for the first time since it became law in 1988. .

Ottawa Police Constable Kristina Neilson to take Plea Deal for $50 Convoy Donation – A hollow victory for the prosecution

(Ottawa) Informed observers of the recent September 29, 2022 online video-hearing for Ottawa Police Constable Kristina Neilson were astonished to see that the officer appeared without a lawyer.

Neilson’s representative, police union Sergeant Patrick Laflamme, asked the Trials Officer to set a date for a 2-hour joint defense-prosecution submission on the facts of the case and an appropriate sentence. Constable Neilson will plead guilty to the charge of discreditable conduct for donating $50 to a Christian website to purchase food and gas for the ‘Freedom Convoy’.

2 Windsor Police Officers Who Allegedly Donated to Freedom Convoy Face Misconduct Charges

Two officers with the Windsor Police Service (WPS) are facing misconduct charges for allegedly donating money to the Freedom Convoy, a large-scale protest against federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates in Ottawa earlier this year.

The charges against constables Jason Michael Brisco and Brooke Fazekas fall under the Ontario Police Services Act, the WPS said on Sept. 20. A third civilian employee has been suspended without pay for a day, also over allegations of donating to the convoy.

But he has a combined 9.4 million subscribers and followers on YouTube and Twitter, many of whom are young people, like Brown was when he got pushed in Shapiro’s direction.

They do suffer from a mental disorder and the CBC is a dangerous enabler attempting to criminalize dissent. Why are our tax dollars supporting gender extremists on CBC?

An Ottawa police officer has been charged with misconduct for allegedly donating money to the Freedom Convoy occupation last February.

Const. Kristina Neilson made her first disciplinary appearance on Thursday morning to face a single count of discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act.

Professional standards investigators — detectives who investigate officer misconduct internally — allege Neilson discredited the service’s reputation “by donating money to the ‘Freedom Convoy Fund’ on a website called GiveSendGo.”
