Merely a month ago, rocker Bruce Springsteen defended comparing Immigration Customs and Enforcement agents to Nazis at an anti-President Donald Trump “No Kings” rally. Now, the E Street Band frontman is striking a much different tone, telling an Austin, Texas, crowd on Sunday that he’s sending a “prayer of thanks that our President, nor anyone in the administration, nor anyone attending, was injured” after an armed man charged through a Secret Service security barrier, and shooting an agent, on Saturday night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Bobby Olivier, a food and culture Editor and a music reporter for NJ Advance Media, took Bruce Springsteen to task this week calling the rocker’s Prudential Center concert in Newark on Monday “all hypocritical crap. Profiteering over legitimate protest.”

He will never live down the Hillary photo.

Lena Dunham, whose latest accomplishment appears to be simultaneously becoming both obese and a drug addict, got caught red-handed falsely accusing an innocent man of raping her in college, and is now confused as to why people hate her.

In a fawning interview in anticipation of Dunham’s upcoming memoir — her second at the tender age of 39 — the far-left New York Times threw out this puffball:  “In hindsight, what do you think the intensity of the loathing of you was really about?”

This morning, over breakfast, in the course of discussing the week’s news, I happened to say the word “Coachella” in front of my two scornful 11-year-olds, whose heads snapped up from their screens in unison. “How have you heard of Coachella?” said one in amazement. “How have you heard of Coachella?” I replied. They exchanged a look with which I’ve become increasingly familiar – namely, the “here we go” look reserved by the very young for the very middle-aged. “What is Coachella, then?” I said, to which they replied: “It’s where influencers go.”

I’m grateful the world has not forgot to despise Trudeau.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel’s jokes are so unfunny, even his liberal audience has trouble laughing at them on occasion. One such example occurred on Wednesday when Kimmel tried to employ the famous comedic reversal technique when he wondered how Iran will negotiate with a bunch of “religious fanatics” who “terrorize their own citizens.” Elsewhere, Kimmel congratulated Trump “for chickening out” on his threats ahead of Tuesday’s ceasefire announcement.

Will & Grace star Debra Messing is catching hell for escaping New York City at some resort in Iceland.
