Fresh revelations about Joe Biden’s autopen scandal paint a picture so damning that even his most loyal defenders should be squirming in their seats. Internal emails obtained by the New York Post show a White House in complete disarray, with staff frantically scrambling to figure out whether Biden actually knew what documents were being signed in his name.

First Lady Melania Trump has threatened to sue Hunter Biden for more than $1bn after he claimed she was introduced to her husband by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Lawyers acting on behalf of the first lady, who married US President Donald Trump in 2005, described the claim as “false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory”.

Biden, son of former US President Joe Biden, made the comments during an interview earlier this month, in which he strongly criticised the president’s former ties to Epstein.

Did persons in the White House use the autopen to forge President Biden’s signature?

Much ink has been spilled on the topic of whether use of the autopen to sign President Joe Biden’s name to pardons, executive orders, legislation, and other documents invalidates the actions. But these analyses overly complicate and miss the key point: Was the document a forgery?

I don’t doubt the fraud allegation at all.

On Jan. 20, as Donald Trump was preparing to gild the Oval Office, Joe and Jill Biden made their wistful departure aboard a Marine Corps helicopter out of Washington, D.C., and into a post-presidential life in Delaware. The Bidens have since—mostly—obeyed decorum and kept quiet.

But this week Hunter Biden spoke. And the former first son had a lot to say.

Former President Joe Biden has sold his presidential memoir to the Hachette Book Group for an advance in the range of $10 million, according to people familiar with the matter.

The memoir’s publisher, Hachette’s Little, Brown & Co., hasn’t yet set a publication date.

Biden, who is 82, said at an event earlier this month that he was “working my tail off” to write a memoir, and indicated that he would focus on the four years he served as president.

Scandal-scarred former first son Hunter Biden went on a scorched-earth rant against actor George Clooney and other Democratic Party luminaries who urged his father Joe to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

I’m not sure who thought it was a good idea for Joe Biden to do an interview with the New York Times about the autopen scandal, but it happened, and boy, was it a mistake. While defending his controversial use of an autopen machine for mass clemency decisions, Biden boldly claimed he “made every decision” on his own.

Neera Tanden, former head of Biden’s Domestic Policy Council, admitted that she authorized autopen signatures without knowledge of who issued the final approval in a closed-door hearing before the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday, according to Fox News.

In her role as staff secretary, before she was moved to the Domestic Policy Council, Tanden “was responsible for handling the the flow of documents to and from the President,” sending decision memos to “Biden’s inner circle” and affixing the president’s autopen signature to the documents when she received approval. Tanden was not privy to any of the decision-making process or who was giving the final approval. She rarely interacted with Biden. The system, according to her opening statement, was a relic of previous administrations.

The Autopen authorized it.
