The fact that Graham Platner had a Nazi tattoo on his chest for nearly 20 years should have been disqualifying. Instead, all the enthusiasm from the Democrat Party base was for him, and he won the Maine Democrat Senate primary on Tuesday. He will now face incumbent Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) in the fall. At this point, Platner has managed to get away with the tattoo in part because the Democrat base is antisemitic anyway, but also because he’s claimed he had no idea what the tattoo meant.
Irene Kao, the St. Paul city attorney who refused to prosecute protesters who disrupted a church service to target a pastor for working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) failed to disclose that she was suing the pastor for the same reason.
On January 18 of this year, anti-ICE protesters barged into Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, disrupting services with anti-ICE chants. A group of 30-40 agitators “intimidated, harassed, oppressed, and terrorized the parishioners,” according to an affidavit for criminal complaint by the U.S. Justice Department.
Pundit Bill O’Reilly recently said he was “surprised” that ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo lost to Zohran Mamdani in the 2025 New York City mayoral race.

I think it is rather amusing that the United Kingdom is more concerned with preventing speakers the government dislikes from entering the country than with actual illegal immigrants who are an active danger to their country.

In fact, I think they should do it more, and apply a stricter standard to those who are trying to stay there. If the UK did that, 75% of the political discord the leaders are worried about would go away, and having speakers arrive to bitch about how racist the country is (Piker, Uygur) or how it is being invaded (Tommy Robinson speakers) wouldn’t be a problem.

Author and former university professor Frances Widdowson reacted to a recent hoax interview where children’s shoes were dumped on a table in front of her by taking out her smartphone and interviewing those who she said had been trying to humiliate her.
Widdowson, who has faced arrest at universities for attempting to hold conversations on claims of unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C., said an “elaborate deception” led to her being in a Vancouver studio for a hoax interview on May 4.
