Anyone who opposes open borders and has met with vilification rather than bona fide arguments from the pro-mass-migration side can vouch for this.

It is, one might say, a completely American media routine.

Out there somewhere in this big country, some far left activist gets attention and the left leaning media loves it.

This has happened so often in American politics that there is no point in denying it. 

Our friends at the New York Post uncovered another twist and turn late Thursday afternoon in Maine Democrat Graham Platner’s phony record and scandal-ridden life as another ex-girlfriend came forward to share not only did Platner cheat on his then-fiancé with her in 2021, but confirmed he was aware he had a Nazi tattoo and believed America is the “evil, bad guy overseas.”

The fact that Graham Platner had a Nazi tattoo on his chest for nearly 20 years should have been disqualifying. Instead, all the enthusiasm from the Democrat Party base was for him, and he won the Maine Democrat Senate primary on Tuesday. He will now face incumbent Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) in the fall. At this point, Platner has managed to get away with the tattoo in part because the Democrat base is antisemitic anyway, but also because he’s claimed he had no idea what the tattoo meant.

Irene Kao, the St. Paul city attorney who refused to prosecute protesters who disrupted a church service to target a pastor for working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) failed to disclose that she was suing the pastor for the same reason.

On January 18 of this year, anti-ICE protesters barged into Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, disrupting services with anti-ICE chants. A group of 30-40 agitators “intimidated, harassed, oppressed, and terrorized the parishioners,” according to an affidavit for criminal complaint by the U.S. Justice Department.

Pundit Bill O’Reilly recently said he was “surprised” that ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo lost to Zohran Mamdani in the 2025 New York City mayoral race.

“I thought,” he told Cuomo during a May 14 discussion, “you were going to wax them [your competitors].”

Beware the Left when they start remembering when there was only “a handful of media outlets out there” that could control the public conversation, keep it within their comfort zone.

On her Friday afternoon show, MS NOW host Katy Tur longed for the days when the liberal elite media had a monopoly on fact-checking politicians as she spoke with MS NOW legal analyst Andrew Weissmann about his new anti-Trump book, Liar’s Kingdom.

Hollywood has been pushing Progressive talking points so loudly and relentlessly, and for so many years now, that it’s easy for conservatives to forget that not everyone in the industry is a frothing Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer like Robert DeNiro or Mark Hamill. A small minority of “above-the-line” figures (the “creatives”: actors, directors, etc.) are openly conservative, and then there are some who just aren’t into politics – like Billy Bob Thornton.

Author and former university professor Frances Widdowson reacted to a recent hoax interview where children’s shoes were dumped on a table in front of her by taking out her smartphone and interviewing those who she said had been trying to humiliate her.

Widdowson, who has faced arrest at universities for attempting to hold conversations on claims of unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C., said an “elaborate deception” led to her being in a Vancouver studio for a hoax interview on May 4.

He hid a seriously disturbed moral compass behind his shield of virtue signaling.

It’s hard to fathom how fast now-former Rep. Eric Swalwell’s star has faded. One moment he was the leading contender to be the governor of America’s largest state; the next, he had ended his gubernatorial campaign and resigned his congressional seat in disgrace.

After former Vice President Kamala Harris passed on running for California governor, a thoroughly uninspiring field of Democratic candidates seeking the office sprung up. However, California’s unique primary system meant that Democrats had to rally around somebody, and Swalwell seemed to be the guy.

The unofficial start to the 2028 presidential nomination cycle begins now. It won’t really be “official” until the primary debates begin in the summer of 2027, of course, but there are telltale signs that it’s already kicking off. Despite not being the news-controlling powerhouses that they used to be, mainstream media outlets and their multitudes of biased hacks are still working off of old playbooks. One of their oldest tricks is to tear down the Republican who worries them most regarding any given election. It’s no secret that the monster under their beds for 2028 is Vice President JD Vance.
