Jamey Carney never tired of saying how happy she was with her new life in Ireland, describing relocating there as ‘the best decision’ she had ever made.
The American single mother, 43, had always been proud of her Irish roots, and finally left the US five years ago to set up home with her young daughter in Killarney, which sits in the heart of a dramatic landscape of lakes, mountains, waterfalls and ancient woods.
