A woman hiking in Canada nearly became a grizzly’s next meal and the video circulating right now is genuinely one of the most intense wildlife encounters you will ever watch – her dog is with her, a massive grizzly is right there, and somehow she kept her head together long… pic.twitter.com/VutSzXLeXM

RCMP say they’ve arrested an Ottawa man who’s believed to have resided in Canada for 30 years under a false identity, and who is wanted in Rwanda for his alleged role in that country’s 1994 genocide.
The Mounties said the 68-year-old man was arrested Monday after returning to Canada from abroad. Investigators also executed a search warrant at the man’s home to seize documents and electronic devices.
They’ve been working on this since 2021.
I bet he’s still here 10 years from now.
Thousands of African migrants are leaving South Africa as authorities confront a surge in anti-immigration protests and reported attacks on foreign nationals, with tensions escalating ahead of a June 30 deadline set by activist groups demanding government action on undocumented migration.
How come they haven’t blamed Trump?
Lawmakers and immigration advocacy groups on Thursday sharply denounced two US supreme court rulings that allowed the Trump administration to strip certain immigration protections and fundamentally reshape the asylum system.
Dozens of groups, advocates and members of Congress called the court’s decisions “disastrous” and “cruel”, while the Trump administration, Republican lawmakers and anti-immigrant groups celebrated the rulings.
“Today, Trump’s loyalists in the supreme court have joined forces with him to deny immigrants’ internationally recognized human rights and advance an authoritarian, white-supremacist agenda at home,” said the Illinois congresswoman Delia Ramirez, a Democrat. “The supreme court’s decisions put more than 350,000 TPS holders at risk of deportation and countless more asylum seekers’ lives in danger.”
A 17-year-old boy named Louis has died after being brutally beaten in a premeditated ambush at a construction site in the southern French city of Narbonne, shocking the nation.
The victim, who was under the care of France’s child welfare services, was lured to the location on the night of June 19, savagely attacked while on the ground, and left for dead. Passersby found him unconscious the following morning.

Prime Minister Mark Carney recently said what many Canadians have suspected for years. Caught on a hot microphone during a meeting with Croatia’s Prime Minister, Carney remarked that Members of Parliament are “just useful for votes.”
The controversy is not that he said it. The controversy is that he may have been telling the truth.
OTTAWA — Canada is cleared to participate in the Eurovision song contest after CBC/Radio-Canada became a full member of the European Broadcasting Union on Thursday.
In last fall’s federal budget, the government said it was looking at getting Canada into the popular international song contest.
Eurovision, which has been running for decades, features performers from various countries and is co-ordinated by the European Broadcasting Union.
Your tax dollars were spent on this crap.
Women who placed their trust in the NHS to deliver their babies safely were failed time and again, a review into the biggest maternity scandal in history has found.
The report into the care of mothers and babies at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust lays bare in heartbreaking detail how women’s pleas for help were ignored, while warnings were brushed under the carpet by bosses.
Over ten years, 156 babies and six mothers died because of poor care. Hundreds more suffered serious, long-term injuries, including brain damage.
The NHS, rape gangs, two tiered policing, the UK is gonna go up in flames soon.

Her family says a negligent doctor sent her home twice while she was getting worse.

OTTAWA — As the country mourned the eight killed and others injured by a shooter who attacked a secondary school in interior British Columbia, more than 10,000 anti-LGBTQ posts expressing hate and calling for violence were made the next day by Canadians online, according to an intelligence brief.
I recall a lot of anti-trans tweets many involving the number of mass shooters and violence in general found among that “community” and the concerns many have with grooming children to think it’s normal.
It’s a weird mania that while fading world wide remains well entrenched in Canada.
It is still pushed upon their own children by the so called elites.
Trans kids are a fashion statement of progressive values in that crowd.
Last Thursday, Prime Minister Mark Carney stood alongside B.C. Premier David Eby in Vancouver, and made a major announcement: the federal and B.C. provincial governments would step in to absorb thousands of vacant condominium units and repurpose them as affordable housing for Canadians. It was, his government declared in the press release, “one of the fastest and most efficient ways to increase housing supply.”
