Leaked Chat Exposes Antisemitism Row in UK Green Party

Green Party activists are facing mounting backlash after leaked WhatsApp messages revealed members describing Jews as “an abomination to this planet” and promoting conspiracy claims about attacks on Jewish targets.

The messages, first reported by The Telegraph, come from a Greens for Palestine group chat and have prompted calls for party leader Zack Polanski to take action, amid warnings of growing antisemitism within the party’s activist base.

In one exchange, a participant wrote that Jews were “an abomination to this planet” during a discussion about Israel and Zionism. Other messages show members claiming Jews “murder, bomb and starve” children and arguing activists should stop using the term ‘Zionists’ out of fear of being labelled antisemitic.

Police force that sent dozen officers to throw IT boss in a cell over blog post criticising senior officers is being sued

A police force that paid £20,000 compensation to a couple arrested over a school WhatsApp group is being sued by a company director thrown in a cell over a blog post.

A dozen Hertfordshire officers arrived at the home of IT boss Sam Smith after the force received complaints from two Facebook group members.

Mr Smith’s house was searched on March 8 last year, his devices were seized and he spent a night in a cell at Hatfield police station.

Two small-boat migrants were welcomed into Britain and given asylum – despite being wanted for gang rape in Denmark.

Danish police issued an international alert for Awedin Fikak and Henok Tekleab, both Eritreans aged 27, complete with their pictures before they even made their journey across the Channel in October 2024.

But, raising questions about checks done on those coming into the UK, officials handed them taxpayers’ cash and free housing.

Two Chinese charged with attempted bombing near Centcom headquarters

A Florida man charged with planting a bomb near the U.S. military’s Central Command has fled to China and his sister is under arrest in the plot, according to federal prosecutors.

Alen Zheng, 20, was charged in an unsealed indictment disclosed Thursday with planting an improvised explosive device at the MacDill Air Force Base visitors center.

MacDill, located near Tampa, Florida, hosts the Central Command headquarters that is the nerve center for the current large-scale military operations against Iran.
