A furious Nicolas Cage stormed off the set of a film where Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was in charge of weapons — and ripped the rookie armorer for firing a gun without warning, crew members said in a new report.

The 24-year-old “Rust” armorer– in charge of guns when Alec Baldwin shot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins last Thursday — was repeatedly accused by crew members of breaking basic safety protocols on the Montana set of Cage’s “The Old Way” in August, they told TheWrap.

It has yet to be determined is she is in any way responsible for the Baldwin shooting.

Alan Dershowitz believes that Alec Baldwin’s shooting of Halyna Hutchins could be considered a homicide.  Gun safety protocols are so stringent that an accident of this kind is almost impossible.  Armando Gutierrez recalls that on the set of Purge of Kingdoms, “weapons went through maybe 10 people before any actor was handed anything.”  Prop masters must be licensed, secure permits, and go through strict procedures on set that ensure everyone’s safety.

The death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins has also been painted as Alec Baldwin’s tragedy.

Really, it’s not. In fact, Alec Baldwin is likely to be held, at least in part, responsible.

“If you’re capable of memorizing 120 pages of dialogue, you can memorize four lines of gun safety,” special effects and firearms expert Steve Wolf tells The Post.

“If that scene required him to put the gun to his head and pull the trigger, I’m sure he would have taken a look inside the gun. Wouldn’t you?”

As a producer on “Rust,” Baldwin could be held culpable for the cost-cutting, chaos and eventual hire of a young head armorer with just one stint in said job on her résumé — because, according to Deadline, multiple other armorers turned it down over low pay and high stakes, with too many firearms to manage.

In a scalding series of tweets, Rose McGowan told off the “whiny” protestors and accused Netflix of far more serious offenses than transgender jokes.

Hollywood could undergo yet another shutdown following the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) recent vote to authorize a nationwide strike if negotiations fail with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

With an 89 percent turnout, the IATSE union overwhelmingly voted to authorize a strike with 98 percent in favor, putting the AMPTP in a difficult position as the deadline to renew a contract looms.
