The U.S. Department of Labor cancelled $577 million of “America last” contracts including $10 million for “gender equity in the Mexican workplace,” the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced on Wednesday.

One of the grants was worth $10 million for what DOGE described as “gender equity in the Mexican workplace.”

The Atlantic felt their story was dying. The Trump administration said no classified war plans were discussed in the Signal chat story that’s captured the hyper-regional confines of liberal America. The Department of Government Efficiency is providing a public service—though not only in the way its supporters intend. In its push to streamline the bureaucracy, DOGE has sent federal unions into a frenzy of opposition, underscoring the need for a long-overdue reform: ending collective bargaining for federal employees.

Federal unions have fought DOGE’s right-sizing efforts at every turn. They have discouraged workers from accepting the Trump administration’s buyout offers, led protests against agency workforce reductions, and filed lawsuits to block DOGE’s actions. Their goal is simple: to preserve an unsustainable status quo, in which unelected bureaucrats wield power over ordinary Americans.

FBI launches task force to nail criminals behind fiery Tesla attacks: ‘Domestic terrorism’

The FBI launched a task force Monday to try to nail the criminals setting fire to Tesla vehicles and charging stations — calling the acts “domestic terrorism” and eyeing an anarchy blog calling for more.

The bureau has received reports of 48 instances so far this month related to Tesla vehicles, dealerships and charging stations and is investigating at least seven of them in conjunction with local law enforcement, The Post has learned.

The left is already in a hissy fit over President Trump’s efforts to dismantle the Department of Education, and I’m sure they won’t be happy that there’s another despised government agency that appears to be targeted for downsizing as well.

Have you heard of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS)? If not, that’s unsurprising. It is a 230-employee agency that supposedly mediates disputes between unions and businesses, but that mediation is “voluntary.” Its headquarters is a nine-story building on K Street in DC, which houses—wait for it—60 employees. Where are the other 270? It’s yet another agency that thought it was independent. It wasn’t. Most FMCS employees “worked” from home. I put “worked” in quotes because if you thought the USAID or other federal agencies thus far exposed by DOGE were corrupt, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

The seven pages matter-of-factly described break-ins at the French Consulate in Washington, planned paramilitary attacks on Chinese nuclear facilities and injections of a “contaminating agent” in Cuban sugar bound for the Soviet Union. The memo ended with an offhand aside about John A. McCone, the agency’s former director.

“Finally, and this will reflect my Middle Western Protestant upbringing, McCone’s dealings with the Vatican, including Pope John XXIII and Pope Paul VI, would and could raise eyebrows in certain quarters,” the author wrote.
