Surge in gonorrhoea and syphilis linked to end of lockdown

Cases of gonorrhoea have soared by 50 per cent in the past year to the highest on record, while those of syphilis are the highest since 1948 as as sexually transmitted infections bounce back following lockdown.

The UK Health Security Agency said 82,592 people were diagnosed with gonorrhoea last year, the highest since records began in 1918, amid a rise in antibiotic-resistant infections.

More than a third of these cases were in people aged 15 to 24, but cases in pensioners have also doubled over the past year.

Feds Polled Canadians on What Made Them ‘More Likely’ to Receive COVID Shots Months Before Mandates Implemented

The federal government conducted a poll asking Canadians what made them more likely to take COVID-19 shots months before mandates related to the vaccines were enforced, records show.

The survey, conducted from May 5–12 of 2021, was Ottawa’s attempt to mine data using the World Health Organization’s “Behavioural Insights (BI) Tool” to support its efforts in “promoting the behaviours recommended by public health experts” during the pandemic.

Fired Alberta Physician Tells National Citizen’s Inquiry Ivermectin Saved Patients From COVID-19

On the final day of the National Citizen’s Inquiry, an Alberta physician testified that three of his COVID-19 patients recovered shortly after he gave them ivermectin, a decision which led to his dismissal from his job and being essentially barred from practicing medicine in the province.

“Less than 18 hours after receiving ivermectin, these patients made a remarkable clinical turnaround. Now again, this is based on data that had been published throughout 2020 and 2021,” said Dr. Daniel Nagase.

Personal attacks on Justin Trudeau’s fellow China Class crony David Johnston by Conservatives are ‘unseemly,’ says minister who genuinely expects us to roll over and believe the usual Bullshit

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc says the Conservatives’ personal attacks against former governor general David Johnston — who is set to reveal Tuesday whether he believes a public inquiry into foreign interference is necessary — are “unseemly.”

LeBlanc, who is also the minister responsible for overseeing democratic institutions, told CTV’s Question Period host Vassy Kapelos, in an interview airing Sunday, that Johnston is a “senior statesman in public affairs and public service and the law,” and Canadians should judge him for his report, rather than being “unduly agitated by (Conservative Leader Pierre) Poilievre’s negativity.”

Former CBC Journalist Tells National Citizen’s Inquiry That National Broadcaster Censored Stories on COVID-19 Vaccine Harms

A former journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) testified at the National Citizen’s Inquiry (NCI) in Ottawa on May 18, saying that the news outlet failed in its coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic by barring journalists from writing stories on lockdown harms, COVID-19 vaccine injuries, and protests against vaccine mandates.

“I know that as a public broadcaster, you’d expect us to be telling you the truth, and we stopped doing that,” said former CBC Manitoba reporter Marianne Klowak. “And it was a number of stories that I have put forward that were blocked, but it seemed to me as a journalist who’d been there 34 years, it’s like the rules had changed overnight. And it changed so quickly that it left me just dizzy.”

Wuhan lab leak ‘happened about the same time as Covid emerged’

The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) suffered a viral laboratory leak or accident around the same time that Covid emerged in China, a new report has claimed.

The new 329-page analysis reconstructs incidents that occurred in China in the years and months leading up to the pandemic.

The Harm Caused by Masks

A new study suggests that the excess carbon dioxide breathed in by mask-wearers can have major health consequences.

Evidence continues to mount that mask mandates were perhaps the worst public-health intervention in modern American history. While concluding that wearing masks “probably makes little or no difference” in preventing the spread of viruses, a recent Cochrane review also emphasized that “more attention should be paid to describing and quantifying the harms” that may come from wearing masks. A new study from Germany does just that, and it suggests that the excess carbon dioxide breathed in by mask-wearers may have substantial ill-effects on their health—and, in the case of pregnant women, their unborn children’s.

Trudeau Liberals declare support for ‘mandatory vaccination’ to ‘finish the fight’ against COVID

Canada’s Liberal Party, under the leadership of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, officially added support of mandatory COVID-19 vaccination to its platform after members voted in favor of it at the 2023 Liberal National Convention, which took place from May 4 to May 6 in Ottawa.

The mandate would force all travelers on interprovincial trains, commercial flights, cruise ships, and other federally regulated vessels be COVID-jabbed. It would also mandate COVID injections for federal employees.
