It is no longer a question that the COVID-19 virus leaked from China’s notorious Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory.
What’s more, this week my colleagues Matt Taibbi, Alex Gutentag, and I broke the explosive story that the first three people sickened by the virus were the scientists experimenting with SARS-like coronaviruses.
Sources within the US government say that three of the earliest people to become infected were Ben Hu, Yu Ping, and Yan Zhu. All were members of the Wuhan lab.
Since at least 2017, China’s People’s Liberation Army has been engaged in virology research with potential military applications at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), according to an investigative report published this week in the Times of London. And according to the secret Chinese communications intercepted by U.S. investigators that inform the Times report, this “covert project of dangerous experiments” being conducted at the infamous lab was likely a direct predicate for the global outbreak of Covid-19.
Three Wuhan lab scientists who were genetically altering the Covid virus were the first to fall sick with it, a new investigation has claimed.
According to multiple US government officials interviewed as part of a lengthy inquiry by independent news outlet Public and Racket, the first people infected by the virus are allegedly Ben Hu, Ping Yu, and Yan Zhu.
They were all members of the Wuhan lab suspected to have leaked the pandemic virus and were partaking in gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) on SARS-like coronaviruses.
LAST month, on May 16, the World Health Organisation (WHO) issued an alarming press release on a cluster of newborn infants from Wales and south-west England suffering from myocarditis between June 2022 and April 2023.
National lockdowns were given “very little thought” ahead of the pandemic and there was a failure to consider the “potentially massive impact” that restrictions on civil liberties would have, the Covid Inquiry has heard.
As the inquiry held its first full hearing two years after it was first announced, Baroness Heather Hallett, who chairs it, was told the country was not prepared for the pandemic and that local health officials found out details of restrictions at the same time as the public.
Giving an opening statement to the hearing, Hugo Keith KC, counsel for the inquiry, said there had been “very little debate pre-pandemic” around whether a lockdown might be necessary and how it could be avoided.
The UK is in the midst of a very robust Covid response analysis, lockdowns are the sort of evil petty tyrants live for.

“When the time is right, our government will be very open to examining very thoroughly the response of this country to the COVID-19 crisis,” then health minister Patty Hajdu assured Canadians in April 2021. A year later, a Research Co. poll suggested two-thirds of Canadians were keen on seeing a public inquiry into both the federal and provincial governments’ pandemic responses — and rightly so. The list of questions is practically endless, but most are simply variations on a theme: “Why did you do what you did?”; “Did it work?”; And most crucially, “How do we ensure our health-care and long-term care systems are never so vulnerable again?”

OTTAWA — The Supreme Court of Canada will not hear the appeal of an Alberta woman who was unwilling to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to get a life-saving organ transplant.
Annette Lewis was diagnosed with a terminal disease in 2018 and was told she would not survive unless she received an organ transplant.
She was placed on a transplant wait list in 2020, but was informed a year later she would need to get the COVID-19 vaccine to receive the organ.

Can we please, finally, have a proper debate about the rights and wrongs of lockdown?
Ever since March 2020, when then UK prime minister Boris Johnson ordered the nation to ‘stay at home’, only one view on lockdown has really been permissible. The conventional, ‘expert’ take had it that the stricter the restrictions, the more lives would be saved. More freedom means more death, we were told. Any concerns about the cost of lockdown – whether to our liberties, health, education or the economy – were apparently not worth contemplating. Worse still, some of those who voiced scepticism of the lockdown policy were monitored by the state and censored on social media. Lockdown, after all, was said to be backed by ‘The Science’.
A secret Privy Council office memo recommended that any COVID vaccine-related injuries or deaths be carefully managed with “winning communication strategies” as to not “shake public confidence,” according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

Cases of gonorrhoea have soared by 50 per cent in the past year to the highest on record, while those of syphilis are the highest since 1948 as as sexually transmitted infections bounce back following lockdown.
The UK Health Security Agency said 82,592 people were diagnosed with gonorrhoea last year, the highest since records began in 1918, amid a rise in antibiotic-resistant infections.
More than a third of these cases were in people aged 15 to 24, but cases in pensioners have also doubled over the past year.
