The faces of dangerous crooks who ‘switched gender’ when faced with the prospect of prison

When Sophie Louise Carter was caught with indecent images of underage children she was a tree surgeon known as Dominic.

But by time the 39-year-old was hauled before court to face sentence, dressed in a pink-t-shirt and shorts with pink nail polish on, she identified as a woman.

The criminal is one of a number of trans sex offenders who committed their crimes as men before transitioning while facing justice or behind bars.

Nothing better captures the moral derangement of our times than this two-word lie.

‘Her penis’ is back. Just when you thought the weirdos had put it away, here it is again, flopped all over the newspapers. A ‘trans woman’ allegedly ‘played with her penis’ in front of two young girls, reported the Daily Echo this week. ‘She’ allegedly ‘loved’ exposing ‘her penis’ to minors, says Portsmouth News. This ‘56-year-old charity shop worker’ is charged with ‘exposing her penis’ to horrified kids, says Talk TV. ‘Her penis’, they all say, over and over, like members of a lunatic cult, with no clue as to how unhinged they sound to those of us who know that the only possessive pronoun that should ever appear before the words penis, dick, todger and knob is his.

I helped bring some holiday cheer to the Internet with the research paper I co-authored demonstrating that sex differences in sports performance persist regardless of gender self-identification. “Obvious” was probably the most used word in tweets and headlines related to our study, closely followed by “duh” on X.

With the festive mirth behind us, it’s time for a serious look at the why and so what of our work.

‘Abbie Taylor’, formerly Martin Tarling, is the latest in a long line of male ne’er do wells to be described by the news media as a ‘woman’.

A post by Sky News did the rounds on X this week, describing Taylor’s case. ‘A woman accused of dumping soiled adult nappies at children’s nurseries has denied the offences’, it read. But the truth of the story could be seen in the attached image of Taylor, which showed a middle-aged man with a face full of stubble and long, pink hair.

Patrick “Tara” Pearsall – aka Passion-Star Royale Pearsall, thank you very much – was hoping for a free pass from the National Parole Board.

But even that frequently gullible body wasn’t buying the dangerous offender’s song and dance.

A family doctor has been suspended for three months after telling a transgender man they were a ‘biological woman’.

Dr Raymond Brière — who had been practicing for more than four decades in Montreal, Canada — was found by a complaints body to have acted in an ‘inappropriate and disrespectful manner’ after telling a patient that they were genetically female during an argument about the risks of hormone drugs.

During an appointment in mid-2022, the patient asked the Dr Brière for a prescription for testosterone therapy to help them transition into a man.

The Science Museum has reinstated a transgender exhibit initially removed following complaints it was ignoring biology.

A controversial cabinet featuring a fake penis and chest-binding equipment was taken down after accusations it was pushing gender-ideological “propaganda”, but an updated exhibit has now been installed.

However, gender-critical campaigners said the reworked version was “more insidious” and pushes a “sexist view of the world”.

JK Rowling has been called “Britain’s nastiest novelist” in an article condemned as misogynistic.

A New Statesman review argued that the Harry Potter author has become a “polemicist” and a “liberal pariah” because of her views on gender.

The piece, originally headlined “Britain’s nastiest novelist”, was condemned by many supporters of Rowling, who claimed it was sexist and unfounded.

I’m old enough to remember when being progressive meant opposing male violence against women. When the decent liberal thing to do was to side with battered women against the gross blokes who beat them up. Not anymore. Now the right-on are giving a green light to male brutishness. They’re actively cheering men who fancy punching women in the face. As long as they do it in the boxing ring, that is. Courtesy of USA Boxing’s new trans rules, it is now permissible for boxers who were born male and who went through male puberty – that is, men – to compete against women.

2023 dealt some stunning blows to woke capitalism and the infuriating tendency of today’s corporations to lecture ordinary people about ‘social justice’, climate change and other pseudo-progressive causes. By far the most stunning blow was the Bud Light boycott.

Since former University of Pennsylvania male swimmer Lia Thomas stole a title and trophy from then-University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines at the 2022 NCAA Women’s Championships, the fairness-in-women’s-sports issue has roiled American politics.

It’s been two years of lobbying by advocacy groups and activists such as Gaines to protect women’s sports from male intrusion. More than 20 Republican states have passed laws prohibiting males from competing on K–12 and collegiate female teams. But overshadowing these strides is a convoluted mess of court rulings, federal statutes and regulations, and policies adopted by the various athletics governing bodies.
