Earlier this month, Hunter Biden defied a congressional subpoena, choosing instead to give a press conference on Capitol Hill. While this act in itself means he has some new legal troubles, it now also means that House Republicans have something new to add to the list of Biden’s impeachable offenses.

Delaware Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf refused to answer dozens of House Republicans’ questions last week about the role she played in blocking investigators from including now-President Joe Biden in multiple federal criminal investigations of Hunter Biden.

A 159-page transcript of the Dec. 14 testimony reviewed by The Federalist shows that Wolf, who quietly departed her position at the Department of Justice a few weeks ago, claimed nearly 80 times that she was “not authorized” by the DOJ to speak about her obstruction of the investigation into Hunter’s and potentially Joe’s criminal family business endeavors.

Democrats and their friends in the news media have temporarily moved on from the tiresome “Donald Trump is a threat to democracy!” storyline to the all-too-original “Trump is Hitler!”

Making this effort particularly unique, they’re so open about the coordination. The media are usually at least partially discreet about deceiving, lying, and manipulating, but for reasons unclear they’re all perfectly fine with this episode being a transparent conspiracy between the White House and the Washington press.

To paraphrase Buffalo Springfield: There’s something happening here … what it is ain’t exactly UNclear, however.

Earlier today, Beege beat me to the Axios story based on leaks from current and former White House aides about Biden’s lack of self-awareness about his age. Supposedly these aides feel that Biden’s problem is that he’s trying to do too much, even while claiming that the 81-year-old Dotard in Chief is “extraordinarily energetic for his age.” That falls into the realm of gaslighting, as anyone who’s watched Joe Biden in public can attest.

After Joe Biden was elected to the White House, Democrat pundits hailed the return of “adults in charge” in Washington.

However, since his election, there has been no shortage of scandals exposing Democrat degeneracy and perversion — including in the halls of power in D.C. and in the White House.

Without question the Biden’s are the scummiest 1st Family ever.

Hunter Biden has told friends that he might have to flee the country if Donald Trump is reelected, after already enduring months of deeply personal political attacks and mounting legal woes.

Republicans have put him front and center of their efforts to say his father acted corruptly when he was vice president.

And he could face almost 20 years in prison if convicted of three felony and six misdemeanor charges brought last week.

One of the biggest news stories so far this week is that the House of Representatives has subpoenaed Hunter Biden for a deposition. The House wants Hunter to talk to members behind closed doors about his father’s involvement in his business dealings.

By voting to formally authorise the congressional investigation into Joe Biden, Republicans in the House of Representatives have started the ball rolling towards his impeachment.

It may be difficult to stop.

Three of the four previous times the House took this step, the chamber ultimately opted to impeach. The one time it did not was because Richard Nixon resigned before a vote could be held.

Biden and his creepy family need to go.

To understand the circus that erupted this morning when Hunter Biden did a press conference on the Senate side of Capitol Hill and then failed to show up for a deposition he’d been subpoenaed to give on the House side, keep four things in mind.

First son Hunter Biden made a shameless plea for public sympathy outside the Capitol on Wednesday — skipping a transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee under the threat of being held in contempt.

“For six years, I’ve been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, ‘Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer, ‘I am here,’” said the younger Biden, 53.

Trouble has followed Sara Catherine Jones since she married into the Biden family almost three decades ago.

Not long after her 1995 wedding to Jim Biden, she took a job with one of his brother Joe’s Senate donors, who later accused her of “fraud” and “unjust enrichment,” according to court records reviewed by RealClearInvestigations. In the years since, she and her husband have been accused of reneging on debts and failing to pay their taxes, court and property records show. Like their nephew, first son Hunter Biden, they have reportedly sold the promise of access to their powerful relative to companies, several of which have gone bankrupt, some of which are tied to foreign countries hostile to the United States.

The whole family is crooked.

Christmas has come a few weeks early for me this year, with the news that the US president’s party-hardy son, Hunter Biden, has been indicted on multiple tax offences. I have been following the Hunter Biden saga since early 2020, when I learned that Hunter in 2013 had accompanied his then vice-president father on a trip to China on Air Force Two, and while there he had conducted his own business meetings on the taxpayers’ dime.

There are several astonishing things about the 56-page grand-jury indictment filed with nine counts against the president’s son, Hunter Biden, by federal prosecutor David Weiss.

The first is that it’s dizzying.
