Consider the case of Radiet Meles, the Eritrean illegal immigrant who has carried out two vicious sexual assaults since arriving here on the back of a lorry in 2015. It was the state’s failure to deport him, or even to monitor him, that gave him free rein to inflict such misogynistic sadism on the women of Britain. It’s that simple.
