Love rats: Canadians get chance to feed rodents named after old flames to owls

Revenge, they say, is a dish best served cold. And for an endangered owl breeding program in Canada, it’s also a dish best served dead.

For the price of a coffee, spurned and disgruntled lovers can revel in the satisfaction of having a dead rat named after an ex, before it is fed to a northern spotted owl.

The British Columbia-based breeder is running its No regRATS campaign ahead of Valentine’s Day, promising a photo and video of one’s rat, named after a former lover – or arch-enemy – and the owl it has been fed to in exchange for at least a C$5 donation.

Musk and his son X, full name X Æ A-Xii, pronounced ex-ash-ay-twelve, appeared at the White House alongside President Trump on Tuesday.

Speaking on Wednesday morning, Goldberg said: ‘Yesterday Elon Musk took his son X to a press conference’, Behar interrupted questioning the toddler’s name, saying; ‘X?’

British Muslim and Jewish leaders sign ‘reconciliation’ accord

A secret summit was held in a 17th-century Scottish castle between Britain’s most senior Jewish and Muslim faith leaders, resulting in the signing of historic “reconciliation” accords that were presented to the King.

The King met the faith leaders in the 1844 Room at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday afternoon. He said of the accords “I’m so glad to hear about this,” and added that it was “the least I can do” to host them. He asked: “Did it take a long time to arrange this?”

Federal lawyers attempted to settle for a fraction of the taxpayer money owed by Laith Marouf, an antisemitic activist who had received public funds as a Department of Canadian Heritage consultant, according to an internal memo.

Blacklock’s Reporter says Marouf, a Montréal-based figure known for inflammatory remarks against Jews, left for Beirut after securing $122,661 to lead a national lecture series on tolerance.
