Prince Andrew will likely be asked about ‘private parts’ in sex assault case: lawyers

Prince Andrew will almost certainly be asked about his private parts in his sex-assault lawsuit — and his accuser’s attorneys will likely try to depose Queen Elizabeth II, according to a lawyer for Jeffrey Epstein victims.

The 61-year-old UK royal will be called on to give a deposition under oath after failing Wednesday in his bid to toss the lawsuit filed by longtime accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre — leaving nothing off the table.

A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that the sex abuse lawsuit against Prince Andrew brought by a longtime Jeffrey Epstein accuser could move forward.

In a Wednesday morning opinion, Judge Lewis Kaplan denied the royal’s motion to dismiss Virginia Giuffre’s suit against him.

Andrew’s attorneys had argued in their motion to dismiss the suit that Giuffre was barred from suing him because of a 2009 settlement agreement that she inked with Epstein to dismiss a Florida suit she brought against the pedophile.

Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, KG, GCVO, CD, ADC, turns 62 next month. It is long past the age at which a man is expected to stop being a cause of concern and embarrassment to his parents. And yet Andrew, who is said to be the Queen’s favourite child, has exposed his mother to the greatest threat to the royal family’s reputation in living memory.

As he awaits the decision of a New York judge, Lewis Kaplan, in the sex assault case brought by Virginia Giuffre, the prince finds himself in the deeply unedifying position of trying to evade court with a secret silencing deal struck by his late friend and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

The document, disclosed by a New York court, reveals the financier paid her $500,000 (£371,000) to end her claim.

Ms Giuffre is suing the Duke of York in a civil case for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.

He has consistently denied the claims.

Ms Giuffre alleges that 20 years ago she was trafficked to the prince by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Pressure grows on duke to settle alleged victim’s claim before key hearing this week

Two of Prince Andrew’s avenues to prevent or stall the progression of Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s sex assault lawsuit against him were blocked on Saturday by a federal judge, increasing pressure to settle claims before a crucial court hearing this week.

Judge Lewis A Kaplan, in a written order, told the prince’s lawyers they must turn over documents on the schedule that has been set in the lawsuit brought by Guiffre who claims she was abused – aged 17 – by the prince on multiple occasions in 2001 while she was being sexually abused by financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew can be linked with his sex abuse accuser by “four to six witnesses” willing to testify in court, according to the legal team of Virginia Roberts Guiffre, cited by The Sun.

Andrew’s lawyers hold ’emergency talks’ over Maxwell verdict as experts warn socialite’s conviction will raise questions over how much prince knew about his friend’s ‘debauched behaviour’ – amid royal fears she will ‘name names’ to reduce jail term

Prince Andrew’s US lawyers have reportedly held emergency talks after Ghislaine Maxwell’s convictions for child sex trafficking as experts told MailOnline the guilty verdicts are ‘not good news’ for the Duke of York whose future as a frontline royal is now looking increasingly ‘bleak’.

Lawyers in the US believe the ninth in line to the British throne should now be ‘quaking in his boots’ as his old friend faces spending the rest of her life behind bars unless she flips and ‘names names’.

Experts also believe that the Duke of York’s chances of defeating the legal action brought against him by Virginia Roberts Giuffre will now be even harder after Maxwell was found guilty by a New York jury yesterday.

Andrew and Harry are doing Yeoman’s work besmirching the monarchy. If the allegations of William’s fling should prove true I suspect it will be the beginning of the end for “The Firm.”
