Donald Trump has called on voters to send a Muslim Senate candidate “back to where he came from”, despite him having been born and raised in the US.
At a campaign rally in Florida on Friday night, the US president renewed his attacks on Abdul El-Sayed, the far-Left Democratic contestant in Michigan’s Senate race.
“Abdul is not a big fan of Jewish people and he’s not a big fan of black people. And I hope you’re going to vote against him and send him back to where he came from,” Mr Trump told supporters.
